Can these cat litter boxes cut down on cleaning? | To The Test | Ep6

Cat owners who have to return to the office may not have the time to clean the litter boxes as frequently as they did when working from home. Self-cleaning litter boxes promise to take care of this chore - or at least make it easier.
The Straits Times tries out three litter boxes - the PeeWee EcoGranda ($134.20), the Omega Paw Roll 'N Clean Self-cleaning Litter Box ($78) and the Petree Automatic Cat Litter Box Gen 2 ($559).

I fully recommend the PeeWee sifting litter box, it’s so great

Been using the Pura Max for almost a year now. Have 6 cats and one of them is huge (8kg big boi). This coupled with a robot vacuum is indispensable for a cat owner. Can't imagine going back conventional litter box & vacuum cleaner.

Litter robot is the best, ie least poo or clumped litter getting stuck on walls or floor or grate, but littermaid or scoopfree can be great too after some modding. My cat refused to use litter robot, so i got the littermaid, modded it to be elevated and replaced the pathetic disposable bin with a giant trashbag. Spray insecticide into the trashbag and its outer perimeter to prevent insects. Monthly cleanout and dumping of the accumulated poop and litter clumps, best thing is the surfaces are all exposed, so i don't really need to carry it to the toilet, can wipe it down in situ with wet tissue
