Can This 6 Gallon Craftsman Air Compressor Inflate A Full Size Truck Tire On One Tank Of Air?

I wanted a compact sized air compressor that I could store inside the toolbox of my truck and handle inflating car or truck tires.
This 150 psi Craftsman pancake compressor was able to do both. In an emergency situation, you would be able to inflate the tank, then air up most tires with one tank of air.

you are legend. Thanks very much. Searched in google for ages about how many gallons air tank to inflate 1 tire from flat. Setting up mobile tire changing van, so dead important to have smallest stuff still capable to do the job. Looks like 12 gallons air tank can pump even 21 inch tire from bmw x5 , extra wde size. Do you think 12 gallons tank can inflate flat tire and get it on the rim after tire change ?

I know it's capable of inflating the tire, but not sure if it could hold enough air to blast the tire on the rim after a tire change. I would like to think so, but not sure on that.

Can inflate a semi truck tire it uses 105 psi?

Yes, just would have to be plugged in to do it.

Hi, I'm new to air compressors and have 3 questions. First question: is both air couplers controlled by the regulator or just one of them? Second question: I bought this compressor to be used to air up tires at 35 lbs of pressure, what psi should I set the regulator when doing this? Third question: why does the manual say to turn regulator to 0 when turning on air compressor and filling it up and also it says to turn regulator to 0 when draining tank?

Hello, thanks for checking out the video. So yes, both couplers are controlled the one regulator. My personal preference is to allow max air pressure when inflating tires. I think mainly the manual says to turn regulator to zero before and after is probably just for safety when attaching or disconnecting an air hose. That way, there is no air pressure when doing so.

Not sure if I have read a manual, but I tell you this, when disconnecting the hose at the coupler with pressure still in the tank, it can pop off pretty violently! I have never turned one off when disconnecting a hose but I do make sure I have a pretty good grip close to the tank.

Under high pressure, it can definitely pop off and slip out of your hand if your not expecting it. I always drain the tank so it doesn't hold water and rust out.
