The best of opm happened under imelda marcos ('70s/'80s), known either as opm or manila sound, wherein there was strong govt support for the arts, including music/performing arts. Similar to how k-pop became a global phenomenon after sokor govt supported it in the '90s thru their ministry of CULTURE (same concept as imelda's) Ryan cayabyab (founder of smokey mountain), lea salonga, freddie aguilar, and yes even wonder kid nino muhlach were products of imelda's own version of the 'CULTURAL revolution'

If that's what you think, feel free to do so. For me, I stand with my words. Just appreciating all the talents during my time. And do not correct me with my point of view.
