That was me who chopped the PLO bomb pot with you 👍🏼. I was also the small blind when you had 109cc. I had Q10 for the open ender but just didn’t feel like chasing.

Hey Brantzen, I came by excited to play your MUG, but as I entered, I saw a $40k guarantee for only $240 BI. I couldn’t resist and entered that instead. And I thought it would be a good story if I won. Ended up chip chopping 10 or 11 ways for a nice 16X return. I know you did nothing, but thank you! And hope to catch you at the next one. Just noticed what it says on the felt: "English only when seated at this table." What is that?? (Nice session, Brantzen. I like the read where you folded suspecting the opponent had a 7. Sometimes it's not about the money you win, but the money you don't lose.)

That 7 fold I was amazing. I would have had a hard time with pair of aces and not much happening. The lurker did a good job of laying low till the river on that one.

Reminds me of that time I rivered the nut flush draw and semi-bluffed my opponent for value. Kinda risky, but the river card binked my rep range for the bluff shove- and I’m always checking for protection there

Haha I love that you love it! All those things like low jack, hijack, under the gun, are all positions on the poker table relative to the dealer button. It just determines who goes first, second, etc

that bomb pot was played so poorly by everyone.. lucky your top 2 held . in my local cardroom we play a lot of double board bombs and if 4 ppl jam ahead of you you better have at least one board nutted lol

Yeah - that’s the big difference. In LA, DBL BOARD PLO is pretty rare, so there are a lot of overplays. If I was in Texas or somewhere where they were more common, I wouldn’t have played the hand this way

Surprised still playing these low stakes. Should be a 5/10 regular (at minimum) - just like the other poker vlogs who now play 5/10, except for The Trooper

Yeah I like that line better - I was just unconvinced he’d call off with a worse hand on that particular river. I’d expect him to raise 2pairs or sets at some point on flop or turn and thought a queen wouldn’t want to call after an ace appears, flush comes in, multiple straights present, etc. But you’re still probably right

Brother, quit gambling with your future. You have a small child to think about. You're a decent poker player. But sooner or later, it's likely more than not that you're going to end up broke if you continue this. Take your winnings and leave this all behind. Find something that your passionate about which earns a consistent income that doesn't require you to take such extraordinary risks. I hope you make the right decision

@@BrantzenPoker👍 a VLOG library of considerable size, and channel size... is a "portfolio" similar to a music catalog for music artists.. IMO Especially if one keeps chugging at content creation ("keeps channel active"). As long as one practices bankroll management, they can do fine... Be selective in your endorsement deals, and you should do fine...
