7:31 For those curious, the Gen 3 AI de-prioritizes Rock Tomb and other attacks that reduce speed when the target is already slower than the user. This works to our advantage here since Rock Tomb is also Nosepass's most damaging attack, but it will use Tackle if we are slower. So counter-intuitively, we actually want a slower Treecko for this section, slow enough that at -1 it is outsped by Roxanne's 0 IV Nosepass.

Genuinely i think they would. The number of HC nerds would outweigh any chance the trolls had. Even at peak hours, its was a 60/40 split between people trying and trolls. On off hours, it was 0 trolls for 2-3+ hours and any that came by got easily outdone

Democracy ruined the TwitchPlaysPokemon run. Ofcourse they would win with democracy. Democracy is the same as 1 person playing the game except it takes 1000000x longer. It's okay for something to be impossible. It's okay to just say 'can twitch chat hardcore nuzlocke emerald? ... No.'

i find these to be a fantastic social experiment to show how humans work. it seems like there are always two groups that form in one that wants to achieve a goal together and one that gets pleasure out of ruining it for the other rather than succeeding together. its quite interesting and teaches a lot about life. choose your friends wisely

Everybody keeps acting like chat is “bad” for not being able to spam A or pick the proper move. When the fact is that there are always trolls in the chat intentionally trying to go against the rest of chat lol they’re spamming every button that isn’t the one you want hoping to mess up the run.

Please do more attempts with this. I actually think it might be possible to get win this run. Possible idea for slight more help is remove the other two starters and make it only possible to choose Mudkip and if all else fails, make caught Pokémon have perfect IVs, although I honestly don’t know if IVs are a thing in Pokémon emerald since the last time I played it I was literally 6 years old

I tried participating in this but their were some people who were being dedicated trolls and constantly typing B or the opposite of every direction we were trying to go so we would get stuck in menus or stuck trying to heal at a poke center.
