★ RULES ★
-If a pokemon faints, it must be permanently placed inside PC Box
-Can only catch the first pokemon encountered in each route.
-Must nickname every pokemon caught (will be named after someone in Fruit Nation)
-Every wild pokemon encounter, static pokemon encounter, trainer pokemon, and items received in the wild are randomized.
-If we black out, we lose.
-Each encounter is paired with each other making them "soul linked"
-If one person fails to catch their encounter or knocks it out, the other person forfeits the encounter as well
-If one persons Pokemon in a soul link is put in the PC or knocked out than the other linked Pokemon must follow/share the same fate
-No repeat of primary types across both parties
-No pair may share the same primary typing

Serene Grace is one of those abilities that I never thought about until I was forced to learn through a Nuzlocke. My Togetic has Serene Grace alongside Charge Beam, meaning it guarantees a Sp. Atk raise on each use. It's not the best move but it absolutely carried me through some early fights and is good coverage. Definitely glad you got it as a full Togekiss though, speaking from personal experience finding a Shiny Stone with randomised items is... Not likely.

Also, stupidest thing ever, Togetic/Togekiss would never have learn these moves. To have these moves you have to capture a full evolved Togekiss. Yeah. Because Pokèmon games are as well designed as a game made by a 10 y/o kid.

@@andrewevans3913 Yeah I was expecting to learn Magical Leaf when I evolved Togepi, but I could only learn it via the move rememberer. Didn't bother to learn it in the end but I'd have to pick up some of Togekiss' moveset if I ever find a shiny stone... Which is looking pretty unlikely unfortunately. Naturally the one stone that you can't mine for or buy anywhere is the one I need...

Mr Fruit and other Klefki haters, Klefki isn't the whole key ring and all of the keys, it's the single key with the face. It's a fairy bc it's based on old legends in which fairies were tricksters, stealing small objects from people and hoarding them. Plus fairy rings and some other things. Highly highly recommend a yt channel called lockstin and gnoggin if you want to know inspirations for more pokemon designs.

This is what I said. Also, the fairy type is normally associated with cute Pokemon and Pokemon associated with light, for example dazzling gleam and Moonblast showing the bright and twinkling nature. Klefki is interesting because it shows a clique that Fairy types have but through noise, through the clanging, jiggling and rattling of keys on a key chain.

Hey Fruit, I was doing some mental math. And have estimated the amount of remaining encounters to be roughly 20. This includes: - Regular routes which I estimate 6 of. (216, 217, 220, 221, 222, 223) (220 and 221 are south of Sandgem town) - Fishing/Surf encounters in three of the remaining towns and cities. (Sunyshore, Celestic Town, Canalave) - 4 static encounters of the Riolu egg, the box legend encounter and the Lake Legends Uxie and Azelf. - 3 special areas of the Iron islands, Fuego Ironworks and victory road. - Two of the three remaining lakes, and their Lakefront areas. (4 encounters total) Nickname: Pickles or Nik

I mean come on, Drapion CLEARLY is gen 4 calibre. The reason Klefki is fairy steel is because it is based on a mythical fairy from French folklore. Fairy types are also cute or have some sort of clique where they really are into bright lights or kinky sounds, the latter being what is associated with Klefki with the rustling of keys on a key chain.

klefki is a body with 1 thin arms holding keys in a position to look like a key ring. The keys are not part of its body, as is porentas leek or sandighasts shovel. It is a fairy that likes to collect things, especially keys.

I think watching Blue get lost in the gym was pretty much the first times I just forgot the other side of the screen existed, and it was vaguely driving me insane, however enjoyable it may have been. Also, to be honest, focusing on the pink body, I always kind of thought that Klefki was looking for a key to get that thing off of it's head, but I guess with its 'arms' being attached to it, that's just its actual head. Apparently it just really loves keys.

Unlike our evolution which takes millions of years, evolution and adaptation in the Pokémon universe is insane. They can literally adapt and evolve through death. "Im dying? Guess I'll just put my ghost into a sword and keep being alive." Some Pokemon evolve simply by holding an item and merging with it. So I guess it's not too far off to assume that after awhile of pokemon being domesticated they'd eventually evolve to look like everyday objects such as keys or apple pies... Remember that all Pokemon were technically once Mew that just adapted extremely fast to their environment.

MISSED ENCOUNTER In the ghost type gym town there is a house next to the Pokémon center where you are usually given an eevee but it is now a static encounter. Male: ErdBird. Female: Henrietta

I think that for D/P Eevee is only given out after completing the game. Eevee is only given to you in the main game in platinum.

Klefki is actually a rod; the keys it has are keys it has stolen because it likes keys. It keeps itself together to look like a key ring, but, as you can see when it faints, it comes apart and it’s keys look like they fall off. It’s body is just two rods connected to a head.

Well, Mr. Fruit, if we were to consider the possibility that Pokémon cards can be legitimate depictions of Pokémon, yes, Klefki can come apart. You see it in a few of Klefki's art on cards such as XY-Steam Siege and Team Up. It is kind of weird, and I definitely have a lot of questions about it myself... *Female:* Ithil *Male:* Amicus

Teleport is actually meta. It’s used as a negative priority U-Turn on Pokémon like Clefable. Could be usable in a nuzlocke but 🤷🏼‍♂️ I am so very dumb

13:30 The hardest gym puzzle for me was definitely Lt. Surge aka the 3rd gym from red & blue. It was pure RNG suffering 😭 Edit: Now that I think about it, the Snowpoint gym puzzle aka the 7th gym from Diamond and Pearl is actually pretty difficult.

19:00 Okay so Key-boi is the ring. The face is also the body and the rest is like arms except he holds them under him/over him to make a ring shape. It just likes to collect lost keys. That is klefki.

Mr Fruit's Klefki questioning reminded of the Honest Movie trailer for Cars where they're questioning how things work in that universe. Is gasoline like blood? Are cars born or made? Did humans go extinct? So many questions and so little answers just like in pokemon Name: Huckleberry

Gen 5 is so underrated. Its weird when people talk about bad designs and just ignore gen 1 designs. I'd honestly put gen 5 at 80% amazing design and only 20% meh

Togekiss has an 80 base speed......so decently fast. But holy hell at 545 base stats total I think only Gyarados and Arcanine have a higher non-legendary stat total.
