after all the beautiful anti-establishment start to the show you then TOE the corporate line,...the mass of fans are so naive... your papering over that reality that this is not "Bob after Shanks" it is Woy following Rafa! ... u cant be "truie REd SUPPOERTS then condone their puppet-show coach & their "asset build policies"... ... .. will you take IT back? What>? Well...this is YOUR life ..the most dangerous state in your world is in the hands of a zombie or a megalomaniac ...the EU ...is led by fascist VON der Liar!! ... the emglish voters REMOVED a fascho-capitalist TORY government & replaced them with pink coloured..TORIES.. ,,the summer for football fans full up with “euros” a sub standard tournament to feed some more footy to the masses never mind if the quality of the game & the players declines season after season so that eventually the sponsors become trillionaires & core suppiorters would rather kick a ball about on the local park! of course having a fecking USA tour just before the start of a season with inexperienced coaching staff is just about feeding the fen way sponsor buddies! more "asset build policies! ... NOT good for preparing for a heavy season!

Ah that was a wonderful show. Great to see big Mo on - he’s a legend. Please have him on as a regular guest. As always, Gareth is the man. I was one of the people that gave you a bit of stick for the Arne Slot negativity the previous week, but don’t take it to heart … you’re fkin great at what you do and you’re my fave Liverpool commentator … just adding that for context 😄 Cheers and up the reds 🍻

Great show lads. Is Paul's place at risk from the new signing? Always good to hear Mo. I agree with all Bielsa said. Loved seeing Slot and his training team at work at the AXA. I love football mavericks, I hate robot football a la Man City. I used to drive to Ewood Park just to see Duncan McKenzie play. Ditto to Bolton to see Jay Jay Okocha (so good they named him twice). Our own Maverick was Robbie Fowler. Yes, he was better than Owen. Another was Collymore, probably the most naturally gifted player to turn out for the Reds. Pity he was just too maverick. Glad Robbo's new walking boots are working out for him. In my day you had to break in new walking boots for weeks,as you applied the dubbin. Being 70 has its advantages. I got to see the great Liverpool teams of the 70s and 80s,including Kenny in his prime. Happy days.

I agree with Robbo about Maradona's awesome skill. However, he let me down badly on 21 March 1984. Cup Winners Cup 2nd leg. I went over to Old Trafford with another LFC mate to see Barcelona dump Man Utd out of the competition. Barca led 2-0 from the first leg . Bryan Robson begged to differ. He dominated the game. Scored all 3 goals for Utd to go through. Robson was awesome in that period, damn him. Maradona stayed on the whole the game but was anonymous. The Barca story was that he was still recovering from a broken ankle. In my opinion, his dealer had failed to deliver the bag of Columbian marching powder he needed. I was gutted for him and for Barca. Bloody hell, it is 40 years ago. My daughter was born that summer.

Newly arrived from Bootle, and persuaded by the old Canadian gent I was renting a room from to watch with him. Educated me as the game progressed.. Another point on those 5 players all scoring double figures - they're all 5 players who largely play in a combination of three of them together - so we need more goals from 2 or even all 3 of the "midfield" players. Plus, given Mo Salah is the greatest contributor and also the oldest player, we could do with someone being ready to step into his shoes as the highest scorer at the club. Whether we have that player, in Darwin Nunez or Diogo Jota, already, or whether we need to bring someone else in should be known by the end of this coming season. If they (or a.n.other) can't step up to closer to Mo's average, then we might need to find a new fella to bang them in regularly. I'm going to be waiting patiently to see which of these lads can step up. Great show, as ever, nice to see Mo in a different environment. I always respect all of your (collective) opinions on footballing (and other) matters - be that TLC or TAW. I watch a fair few other channels and largely like some of their content, but not necessarily their views on wider issues. Ignore the occasional moaners Robbo, not that I think you really let them get to you. We always get them popping up throughout our life/lives, in one guise or another. Not worth letting them affect our headspace.✊🏻

Big Bad Mo upped the tempo this week and you could see Robbo with an extra spring in the step! Deffo something to do again. Regarding Slot, I thought he looked like he'd had his Mondeo recalled due to a manufacturing fault and got a Ferrari as a courtesy car! In Slot we trust.
