In this series, I'm taking on the challenge of playing a season in every FIFA game, starting from FIFA 14 and working my way up to FIFA 23. Today, it's all about FIFA 16, and I'm diving into the world of Leicester City!
🦊 Leicester City's 5000-1 title win in real life was legendary, and now we're aiming to recreate that magic in FIFA 16. I didn't need a poll to know that managing Leicester City would be the perfect choice for this season. Join me as we embark on an exciting mission to relive history!
📈 The team I've inherited is far from its prime. This Leicester City squad is a throwback to the Claudio Ranieri era, featuring iconic players like Vardy, Mahrez, Kante, Drinkwater, and Schmeichel, but their ratings are far from impressive. Unfortunately, the FIFA 16 servers have gone silent, denying us the chance to access their upgraded versions.
⚽ Our strategy is clear: We need to reinforce our midfield and attack to match our ambitions. Andy King and Leonardo Ulloa won't cut it for our goals on FIFA. Speaking of goals, this season, we're setting our sights on a monumental challenge - surpassing Jamie Vardy's incredible record of 12 consecutive goals. Let's rewrite history and at least match that stunning feat from the 2015/16 season!

I saw Juve during this season vs Inter Milan at The San Siro, and even though they left, that team was insane! Dani Alves, Buffon, Dybala, BBC centre back trio… incredible squad of players

You could give buffon the UCL he never won maintain the defence bonucci, chellini, cuadrado, sandro ect for as long as you can sign younger players when the old guard slow down aim to do it as long as buffon doesn't retire

@@mbkcsuad3516 an ageing side which would need lots of young talent to help the old guard keep up someone like Eric bailly, Jan vertogen ect to take there Place when the old players loose most of there physical stats when the defence can't run you won't win the UCL AC Milan in fifa 12 is in a similar situation very old players ageing side.

FIFA 16 was my absolute favourite. I loved the ‘no touch dribbling’ mechanic and Juan Manuel Iturbe was basically Messi for 800 coins. I used to run a front 3 of Reus - Auba - Di Maria which I kept all the way til the end of the game

Am i wrong or is the table broken? How did Chelsea got 2nd place with 5 losses after a 7 loss streak at the start? How is Sunderland with less than 33 points by game 37 after being on 33 when you were on 33?

@@Weirzy Wouldn't it be easier to quit the match if he was going to lose a game? Pretty sure you could do that and return to your last saved game. That seems quicker than simulating twice lol

In 16/17 Werder Bremen almost qualified for Europa League but they failed in the end. Maybe you could bring them back to that level or make them even better. In that season they also had players like Gnabry and Kruse

I think you should do Portsmouth for FIFA 17. I’m pretty sure this was the 1st or 2nd year their stadium was actually put into Fifa after the passing of Simon Humber. They just got promoted from League 2 to League 1 the previous season and it would be great to see if you can push them up the ladder one more step and get them back-to-back promotions in 2 seasons to the Championship. The team features some great young players, as well as the Jersey Suarez himself, Brett Pitman. The challenge for the save is seeing if you could make a cup run and win a trophy along with promotion (since Portsmouth had two 1st round exits and one 3rd round exit during the 17/18 season). - Gain back-to-back promotions? - Have Brett Pitman break the League 1 goal scoring record? - Win a trophy with a League 1 side? There are so many challenges and storylines for this career

Part of the coolest part of playing low rated teams is your youth players turn into starters in a season or so at most and it can feel really neat to see your investment pay off so quick. I’ve been doing a Portsmouth career mode this summer (4th season in, mid table of EPL as of now) and if I can get a youth player who comes in at 68 or so he’s about 6 months of training away from being in contention for a top spot 😂

When I'm doing a fifa 12 journeyman save I manged Yeovil town Sydney FC,joenbuk hyundai now at the Central Coast mariners. At jeonbuk I signed some ageing stars Wayne Bridge, micheal Owen ect at Sydney castanlellos on loan from inter and at Yeovil Roberto Carlos and David Beckham where the big signings

If you still wanna journey around the leagues: Schalke in Fifa 17. The royal blues were second in the league. A record you could attempt in arguably the easiest league to score goals: least goals conceded in a single Bundesliga season (17 by Bayern). Turn AufSchalke into an unpenetrable fortress!

@@declangaming24 nah not really. Great idea but very badly executed. You would see in team statistics that big players played 10 games per season while low rated players played far more. Fine idea but it really made no sense

@enmamu1430 the top players could be injured they get the annoying training injuries aswell but If I'm Liverpool on fifa 17 with a stacked side they hardly rotate they will play super low stamina players in some games teams play the most tired players
