I think he just got too hot and lost his footing in the trailer. If they’re willing to eat and drink he just needs time. Also, he’s a dairy breed so I don’t think he’s that thin. Good job caring for him, we all know you do your absolute best for your animals

It was so wonderful to see Case taking care of his little brother. When they get older they can look back on this and have a lifetime of memories to watch. What a precious time in the two of their lives that they will have. I have the case becomes more part of the videos because he is certainly wanted we would love to see him a lot more. Little Adler is going to put on a show for everyone every time, I must say we enjoy it💙 It was lovely seeing your parents today, we see where you get your kindness. Have a blessed night.

The new steer (bull) will soon find he is living his best life - poor thing has had a rough start but y'all will give him TLC. Great seeing Case in action on the farm - what a super kid!! He knows his price and is sticking to it 😂 So nice to see your folks, too.

Like the old saying goes a family that plays together stays together. Real happy to see Case and Adler spent brotherly time together. I think once the new steer gets used to the new surroundings it will do ok. Although it will need to be dewormed as most animals need. I found that out when I got puppy that had white worms. It was a crash course. Awesome seeing Ralph and Lea Ann as really nice folks. At least Adler got some eggs for the day. Enjoyed and thanks.

Love how Case takes care of Adler. Great to see siblings get along. You take AWESOME CARE of your boys and instill good values for them. I think the steer was just scared and tired. It shows you care by doing all you did to get him up and going. He's at an AWESOME place now. He will have the best care possible. You wore your boys out with your and Grandpa's hard work. I would say your new dog will be just fine. He just doesn't travel well. LOL Grandpa will talk to him about things and it will all come right. Tell that rooster to bring his hens over to scatter the poop! They are great at that. Talk to him a lot, tell him stories, sing to him. He will get used to your voice and smell all will be fine. The boys are cool! Thanks for being such a caring Dad; it makes me feel better about the upcoming generations. Stay safe. PS: Hi Adler! 👋

New calf shows it's dairy based, those hips sticking out are a dead give away. He's looking a little ruff around the edges but I'm sure Grandpa will get him fattened up in no time. Sure was good seeing Case at the farm with you and Adler. Blessings.

It makes me giggle every time I see Adler walking around and dancing and stomping!! All the time either singing or chanting. 🤗🤗🤗🤗😎😎😎😎. He's so darn cute! Maybe your new bull just got a little carsick? I'm glad you told us he's acting like normal now. I think he's a little thin but he's pretty young yet right? The heat and the ride in the trailer did a number on the calf. We are so glad that he is feeling better and he sure came around when grandpa Adler hand fed him. He's going to enjoy his new digs and all of his family.

Well, Chad I think you blew it for your Dad to ever eat that bull (steer)now! He'll be giving him so much TLC getting him in good health. He will feel sorry for the little guy and telling him what a rough start he had at Adler Farm! But he was lucky Chad got him and bought him there. Yup! Your Dad won't be eating any of his steaks! I think the calf got over heated in that trailer and I would say "trailer sickness" while travelling. I was very worried about you when we seen you after you carried him out of the trailer. That had to be both Exhausting and stressful dealing with him. Case, is an amazing big brother and Adler adores him. I love your relationship you have with your boys and the relationship you have with your parents. God's Blessings to you and all your beautiful family!

Welcome to your new grass puppy on the farm. I think the poor fella was hot, tired and scared. We all know he will be well taken care of. So nice to see Case and Adler in the video together. Case is so great with Adler. Very caring big brother

I would give him a combination antibiotic as welll. Young cattle often come down with infections during shipping. I would also recommend vaccinations for hoof and mouth and blackleg. We usually gave all those shots to new claves, I don't ever remember us giving them a tetanus shot. I would also recommend getting some horn debudding paste. Because he is a Holstein you need to figure he will need at least two years to get enough frame size before he can put on a lot of weight and finish out.

Oh so glad the calf is in good condition right now. Lets hope he turns out to be a good one. Once ya get him sorted with shots and all he should be good. Loved seeing Chase and Adler in the rocking chairs on the porch. Two great boys. They remind me of mine. They are adults now about your age with family.

awww you're new grass puppy will be just fine...he probably had sea legs from the ride and a bit of heat exhaustion. He just needs some tender loving care from you and your dad!...You'll doctor him up and your dad will feed him and love on him. In just a few days he's going to be jumping and running through the pasture and messing with Leila the Piggy!! He has such beautiful coloring... once he gets all cleaned up, he'll be a gorgeous steer. Loved seeing Case today.. he's such a smart and handsome young man. Growing up so fast! And Adler oh my goodness.. that sweet adorable blued Farm Boss! He's such a little pistol, Chad as he has your personality... You're going to be in for it...Lolllll Also, it was awesome seeing your Dad & Mom tonight too. What a beautiful kind couple they are. Calf looks good. Probably just exhausted from the trailer ride. Weak trying to keep standing while bouncing around in the trailer. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

Should have had some bedding down to help him keep his footing. Tried to get up most likely after slipping, then spent that hour drive nervous and scared. I've seen livestock mess there pelvic up when they slip and legs go back. Look at deer on ice. after a bit they can't get up. Yes I realize that is ice. But when he pees then poops and slips and slides. Chad that Adler is a hoot. His strut he does just cracks me up. Interesting watching these new cattle that he is getting grow up.

Thank you for being you. Grandma & Grandpa had Holstein milk cow's. He called " come boss" and they'd come. Love the boys. Do you know the male sicklet (fish) carries its babies in its mouth till they're big enough. Thought since you're such a good dad it was kinda ironic you got them. Love watching. ☺

Your new beefy boy needs a little time. He has had a really big day. First being escorted to the trailer, then the trailer sickness, being carried out of the trailer, and finally chased by the sound of the tractor into the paddock. Hopefully, once he gets a little meds inside, he will do better.

Holsteins are a pretty skittish breed, and he probably did not enjoy the ride. If you thought 42 and 44 were stubborn, just wait...😂 You guys do a fantastic job caring for all your animals. He'll soon see Grandpa as the snack man, and he'll be waitin' at the fence!♥️🐄

I was pretty stressed out from a scary day. Can't go into details but nerves were fried. Relaxed and decided to watch this video from nearly a year ago. The brotherly love from your two sons was so heart warming and your deep concern for a car sick Holstein bull was so wonderful to watch. I nearly cheered when he got up and started walking! My spirit is calm and I know that no matter what this crazy world throws at us, that God's people will survive. Simple life is the best!
