Small thing - but it drives me nuts… .44 Magnum is a REVOLVER gun/round. SOME semi autos they make as both, like 9mm can work with “moon clips” in a revolver… .357 Sig is a semi auto round… but I don’t believe .44 Magnum is or ever was a semi auto round. It’s such an iconic pistol (DIRTY HARRY) that idk how they could actually screw that up. *The Desert Eagle shoots .50 Action AE. Not .45 Mag*

This game is GREAT but it also reminds me A LOT of the love-child between DayZ and Project Zomboid. I LOVE LOVE LOVE survival games, the base building, looting, watching your stats.... Love it! Can't wait to see more of this Fooster! xD

As they don't need to breathe, so there's no reason for them to actually make much noise with their mouths, and the heavy rain covering their footsteps ... Still it is great that there are sneaky zombies around to always keep you on your toes XD Would be incredible if there were sneaky zombies that don't grunt and stuff becuase their lungs are punctured or something, and don't make audible footsteps because they have sick kicks XD

Those books you found in the cop shop are skill books that open up new crafting benches and recipes when you read them. Only sell the ones you've read because they are level-locked. However, you need lots of happiness food, cigarettes, or general magazines to lift your mood when reading the skill books ... because just like in school, studying new knowledge is depressing and the skill books tank your mood. On the same topic, you really need to get a base built (gives tons of XP building it) and you need all the different workbenches and unlocking things like generators, fridges, cookers, etc. so that food and drink become non-issues. You also need somewhere to stockpile all the consumables. The blueprint you found on the train also is part of the skills unlocking system - it gives access to "blocker" recipes when you hit the right point in the skill tree.

You should do a SCUM city dweller playthrough. You'd have to be very cautious, and use some unconventional, but interesting tactics to survive, I'd imagine. Would very much like to see that. Get Fisk in there too, as a character you meet in the city, and save his life or something, then you two become fast friends.

I'm really enjoying these new additions to the different types of zombies in the game. They're reminding me of State of Decay, which is my all-time favorite zombie game. Those juggernauts were so tough, and the ferals... their screams haunted my dreams.

The crawling thing at 29:00 reminds me of that Licker thing in Re2. With how its head is designed and how it crawls

With the skill manuals, you read them to gain points in that skill. Downside is that it lowers your happiness so you'll have to keep that balanced. I think you can read each one 2 times, or perhaps it's 3, and then that level of manual for that skill is done and you can then read the next level. It's an easy way to level up your skills and unlock more of the skill tree.

Great gameplay, fun video. One tip from me as you are mostly using the bow. You can pick up the arrow itself from a body first (not just loot the body), so you will barely lose any arrows.
