Can Wrexham reach the Premier League in the next 20 years?

We'll go up this season, I really think so. Then we'll see how hard or not to get into the Championship. Might rightly takes years. But to get beyond that, Wrexham will need to sell shares. The PL is a billionaire club. Ryan is rich but not that rich...yet!

Nice one Liam, good mix of questions and down to earth answers when it comes to Wrexham moving up the leagues. I do believe we will go up this season (although there is still a long way to go and anything can happen) beyond league 1 is when it’s as much about money as it is football. The owners have invested heavily into Wrexham but at a level where it’s sustainable, to take it to the Championship and beyond will need further investors into the club, Ryan and Rob have a lot of money but I’m sure they would like to keep some of it 😂. As for the card draw at the end, there will be people out there that would pay a lot of money for a mint condition card like that (there’s your season ticket for next season sorted 👍)

Championship is the trip up. Possibly top of L1. Many ex premiere teams drop to L1 so it’s not a walk. A MASSIVE turnover in personnel will be required if we somehow make it to the championship. If we do it in the next 3 years, Mullin and AO may be the only ones left. Lee and Evans will also be on the squad

We need a better defense if we want to leave league two and be competitive in League one.

I recognise that ground where you where playing number 24 that's Prestatyn Town I am an Everton season ticket holder but because of a family connection I also follow Flint Town and I have been there a lot to see Flint (I went to see them there in the cup this season) one of my best mates used to live in Prestatyn and I go up there with him as well

Once you get to the Championship then nothing is guaranteed. Money guarantees nothing getting out of the league. And yet you can surprise also - look at where Ipswich are at the moment.

of course they can. and they will. ryan reynolds is a billionaire. the talent in the lower leagues is a much different thing than the talent in the top league... it's possible they get promoted every year til they get to the championship, and then likely to stay there for a few years before breaking through to the premiership. by the time they make it to the premiership, none of the current players will still be with the club. mullin's really good, but he'll be old by the time wrexham has a real chance at promotion out of the championship. and i have yet to go to a wrexham game. when i lived in england, i didn't even know of wrexham. i was an arsenal fan, through and through. didn't pay attention to anyone else, but hey i was a little kid... but from what i gather from some people that are wrexham fans and go to every game, steve jones was no longer able to do his job, and was too proud to hang it up on his own. sucks that he had to go out like this, but a job's a job, and if you can't cut it, you're cut loose. wrexham needs a professional voice, anyway. the club's success is going to necessitate a bigger picture mindset, moving forward.
