Pardon me for being obtuse, but I am acutely interested in why LA might be nicknamed the City of Angles. Furthermore, the Chernobyl I visited was in Ukraine, and not Russia.

I think in this year, the Ukraine was at least part of Russia!!! It was 1991 as the Ukraine leaves Russia!!

Some of these answers are wrong (or the questions are worded wrongly, if you prefer). For example, Chernobyl is in Ukraine, not Russia.

Many mistakes in this quiz ... The answer to #3 is incorrect. Mt Everest is on the border between Nepal and China, it's not just in Nepal. In #21, Los Angeles is the "City of ANGELS", not angles. In #28, Chernobyl is not in Russia, it's in Ukraine. In #29, Italian for pie is torta, not pizza.
