Mitigation isn't invincibility. It reduces your damage taken by x amount, it may be possible to get mitigation damage up to 100%, but if you didn't build around it then you don't have it. Most likely the reason you weren't being hit in that hardest encounter room is because of the perk which decreases how likely enemies are to hit you the faster you move

I feel the pain of the Chimera being the biggest road block. So many people learned the hard way that builds and cyberware really matter on VH2.0 when going through the PL intro.

FYI at 27:35, after the hallway with cameras, there are two computers in the room. One of them has an option to wipe surveillance footage - missing this option means Hansen's goons come after the president, but wiping the surveillance footage results in a calm drive to the DT base. The option to wipe surveillance footage only shows up if you're caught on cam.

Man the Chimera fight felt like what smasher should have been. I was using a melee blade build when I first fought it, and I had to completely change it just to beat that boss on very hard.

I started PL last night with a level 22 netrunner build on very hard, and the museum room fights in "Spider and the Fly" wrecked me for hours. I finally had to drop difficulty to progress. To be fair, easily stealthing through main jobs through "Transmission" created a complacency where I entered Dogtown with a glass cannon build (4 Body) and 0 weight in my inventory. I had to rely heavily on a looted smart SMG from rescuing Myers in "Hole in the Sky" While adversaries in PL may be levelled to the player character, as we all know, netrunners just don't have a lot of damage output until they get high end decks (I had tier 3), Overclock AND most of the perks required to set up the neutralization/health/RAM feedback loop. Given my mediocre skills, I don't think I could survive "Spider and the Fly" on very hard with full health until at least level 35-ish/tier 4 cyberware/quickhacks.

Congrats on 50k! You absolutely deserve it. Keep the great content up man.

That “hardest fight” made me reload a save before i started the DLC and rebuild my character lol. I was level 15 attempting a blunt melee build… i think it might be impossible xD. I clicked on this video specifically to watch you suffer in that room like i did, and you didn’t disappoint.

Phantom Liberty I felt was way too easy with sandy + mantis blades and the relic upgrade for them. You could beat the (don't) Fear The Reaper ending at level 30 with only a few iconics with the relic upgrades tbh

I got stuck in that room for 5 hours on Very Hard as well. I had a stealth build that got dragged into combat and with no points in body I kept getting one tapped just like you.

Tetratronic rippler + ram reallocator at 20 int lets you infinitely do sonic shock+ short circuit which is a one-shot un-tracable attack for most enemies, no overclock necessary. With the same build Sonic shock+ synapse burnout+ sonic = 45,000-90,000 damage without overclock either.

Nice Video.....If you started a new game on the latest 2.1 version they increased the CWC shard drops to the point where (I cheat and give myself 30 extra CWC shards at lvl 2) and my CWC is at 324 (with Edgerunner) at lvl 48 in newest 2.1 playthru, while you are at lvl 57 with 277 (CWC) which is about 30 lower than most people playing PL because you transferred over a previous version's save file. If you took away 30 from my 324 is would still be 294 at lvl 48, so.... That would be an issue. I get it the real issue with 1 Health is getting oneshotted EVERYTIME. Next I also give myself an extra 30 perk points in the beginning and add more later as the game has a total of 221 perks in all 5 trees and between 41 & 47 in each tree so most will use up to 4 trees with 45 avg x 4 = 180 useuable perks to be assigned while the game (level 50 = 50 + 20 in the world and Pro Rewards= 70 perks or lvl 60 + 3 extra in PL and 1 purchase = 84 which is completely limiting on how you choose to play the game and only hurts your choices (why cant I use different styles from pistol (focus) to blade to Quake to throwing knives? I mean seriously you can only flatline guys once does it really matter how you choose to do it? Imagine how much more exciting it would be to play with 2 perks per level and getting an extra 50 @ lvl 50 so possible 120 instead of 70, makes the game more enjoyable and fun to play. J&T got killed because you didn't open the computer in the room right after the cameras spotted you where it gives the option to delete the recordings (then no drama & you get the bonus tier 5 items in the room). Of course Reed ends up killing them anyway (Alex says its protocol for Reed). To kill the MaxTac guys you have to target the one Reed is targeting and you cant see his red line to the Maxtac from behind cover so...try different guys until you are depleting their health because only 1 at a time is the targeted guy, who is possible to kill.

You should totally but chat on screen, I would've especially loved to see it when Spongebob V got introduced

The reason you got into a gunfight is because you were caught on camera, you delete the footage on the computer in the same room to avoid the fight completely
