I love the refusal to use Torrent from an in-game perspective. Cursed with such tremendous weight he lacks the ability to even jump, this Tarished refuses to allow his noble steed to bear the painful brunt of his weight, marching stoicly across the land instead. Truly a hero. Truly an Elden Lord. Truly, our seed will look back upon us, and recall, An Age of Kindness.

Fun fact: Torrent is 100% not necessary to complete the game, because you can't use him while you're invaded. So From had to design every area to be reachable on foot as well as on horseback. This is why there are long ladders right next to spiritsprings in Mt. Gelmir that lead to the same spots.

I just have to say what a great video. So committed. Also. THE FREEZING POT ON MALENIA?!?! I died to her 75 times. First time I used summons in the game was to beat her. Admittedly the second I used mimic tear, it became a trivial fight and didn’t feel very good to beat her with. I’m using freezing pot on this play through!!!!

Honestly, I love the idea of this run conceptually. Imagine this guy, walking around with hulking armor and a huge shield, so heavy that he shakes the ground with his steps, just casually blocking blows from house sized enemies as he goes on a stroll. It would be a magnificent sight.

Using the butt stomp was such a smart idea to platform, and actually being able to platform under the sewers using it is genuinely one of the most impressive things I've seen done in this game, ggs

This is so much more than just a meme run, it perfectly demonstrates the best part of the game. It's a series of seemingly impossible obstacles that you need to adapt to by exploring and experimenting. You can choose to beat your head against a boss with your current setup for hours or adapt your gear and strategy, the difficulty is truly optional.

This is exactly how I play this game when I first have it. Not overload, but just walking, light jogging and dodging. I didn't know how to use the horse until a week later.

Watching this was waaaay more interesting than I thought it would be! The new tactics forced by this restriction were super fun to watch and even teached me a thing or two of the game :D

FYI Pineapple, on Radahn you can skip the ranged phase by going backwards away from him at the start, normally it takes three taps of the sprint on Torrent, so in your run it be a little bit of a walk; the skip despawns Radahn, and getting closer again makes him re-appear, only in his sword state.

Absolutely amazing my friend! I cheesed the hell outta the game, mimic, insane bleed, glitches for more money etc and it was still hard for me lol mad respect on your skill level! Thats the thing I love about Elden ring, it's very much as hard as you want it to be.

With Radahn, if you walk backwards until he disappears then walk back, he won’t fire any projectiles and will just rush towards you (this includes spears).

I wish there was exactly one mimic in the game, somewhere really late like Leyndell or the Haligtree. You've gone dozens of hours without mimic chests and the only traps being transporters you can roll away from. You go to open a chest and BAM you got vored.

I wouldn’t say you’re defying Miyazaki, but just solidifies his genius that their games are meant to be your own personal experience, they can be played however you want really, just some ways are better than others. Also, I say the horse would have been valid if you would have learned one gravity spell, then you could have been like Radahn.

I love when challenge runs add completely ridiculous additional restrictions that only make the challenge more tedious and take longer than it should. "Yes, I am going to beat the entire game while walking at a snail's pace. Also, I can't ride the horse even though nothing about this challenge would incline me to give myself such a restriction" always fun

"If you're an impatient person, then attempting this run will be a nightmare." Man, you don't have to be impatient for this to be a nightmare. I wouldnt even be able to do fucking Soldier of Godrick without giving up on this challenge.

I love the problem solving required to make it through this type of run. It's like you're playing completely different game. I also appreciate your commitment to limitation, like not using torrent or quickstep unless you absolutely have to. Overall awesome run.

Watching your character stroll leisurely through Caelid was a treat. That land is designed to make you always stay on your guard. It's a ruthless land, covered in threats, and you just walked casually through it to Redmane Castle.

I love how the gimmicks you pull are extremely useful to me who is seriously struggling though the game. Giving me ideas and strategies that I wouldn't have thought of on my own.

Fun fact: you don’t actually need to climb the tree and use a bow to kill commander O’Neil. Instead, you can sneak up behind him and use poison mist, as it won’t aggro them when cast. In fact, any enemy you can sneak behind, you can use this strategy on. (i.e. draconic tree sentinel or one of the two tree sentinels in Altus plateau)

If you want to do this challenge here's some tips: *Use sorceries* and obtain *Misericord* and a *Medium Shield* for *blocking, parries, and high incantation/sorcery damage and stagger damage (Also put bloodhound step or quickstep on the Misericord for great dodging like in this video).* Obtain the *Deaths Poker,* you only need *18-25 intelligence "(Stop at 25, you don't need more.)", 30 dexterity, 20 strength* for it to be amazing if you upgraded it at least *7 times or max.* Acquire the *Great Epee* for better thrusting sword damage than the rapiers here and about the same speed of attacking.
