Funny. Every time I have Rex as my companion, I always chose Violetta's brain over the others, I guess it would make more since when I also have Veronica as well as my own ballistic fist. This makes it so Rex can soften up the enemies, and either I or Veronica would land the finishing blow, whoever gets there first. Since Rex was somewhat solo, then power would make more sense, I suppose.

This would be interesting to see, for example as soon as you start you go to 188 trading post and kill veronica, then you can only use her weapons and armor for the rest of the game, along with siding with whoever they would side with, and keeping your skills as close as possible to what theirs would be

Hey Nerbit! I just started a similar challenge to this, but in Fallout 4 as a Pokémon Trainer, so I get to use Dogmeat and the animal taming perks. Definitely a hard run so far tho!

Here’s an idea for a next one, can you beat Fallout New Vegas (I’d say 3, but the enclave is evil no matter what in that), as Frank Horrigan, use console commands for special stuff and tag stuff (Or the tag perk for a 4th tag skill), side with Arcade, and use the Remnant power armor (Optional extra thing, making yourself green in the character creator, and using console commands to make yourself an extra 4 feet tall)

Here’s a challenge: sneaky Susan Unique Rules and setup (may require a mod or two: 1: healing items are worthless. You cannot use them. 2: you regen health when hidden. Neutral when caution. Take continuous damage when danger/detected. Damage rate is multiplied by number of enemies who see you. 3: the effect above applies to you AND companions, and detection of either drains health of both. 4: if you stealth kill an enemy and nobody triggers caution status for at least 7 seconds, you get healed instantly. Percent healed equals 100/number of hits to kill target. 5: fame is dangerous. It causes you anxiety. Anxiety leads to problems. The further from neutral with any faction, the faster your hunger,sleep,and thirst drain.

The virgin dogmeat vs the chad Rex. Dogmeat may have more health, but he also has a stupid name, whereas Rex is a name to be proud of.

I know this might not be something you'll consider, but may I suggest a prequel to this now? Can you beat Fallout 2 as Cesar Millan? I'm only throwing out that idea because you can up to *three* different dog companions at the same time. (Technically four, but we don't talk about that one...)

I wasn't expecting Rex to be so good against everyone. Might have to rethink always getting Ed-E as a companion...

I dont know if you take run requests, but I think its be pretty fun to see skyrim done with only quest items. As on either quest rewards or items you use during a quest. Things like the Jagged Crown, Rueful Axe, Forgemasters Fingers would be allowed, but Things that ate unique that are found in a quest (like Targe of the Blooded) can't be as they aren't the main focus of the quest. The only shouts you can use would also be ones from the Greybeards quests, so Force, Dragon Rend, the first word of Whirlwind Sprint/Fore Breath, and Clear Skies. No Ethereal shout or anything. It'd be interesting to see what all you could do

There's a dog related perk in Fallout 4, so try and do this same challenge in Fallout 4 because it makes sense even if the dog in fallout 4 won't kill the enemies you can assist him in combat with whatever weapon you want to

Picturing Rex using the blade of the east makes me think of Sif from Dark Souls.

There is a mine right next to the road leading to jackobstown with some crates full of explosives if anyone wants them, plus it's full of lake lurks and a dead super mutant with even more loot.

He has high intelligence and repair skills to boot, but clearly he can't pick locks. Maybe you could find a ghoul mod and abuse the radiation healing? Edit: he also has high luck, given his backstory. The dude has survived so many catastrophes
