Can You Beat Kirby Star Allies Guest Star Bandana Dee, Magolor & Adeleine Without Jumping?

We've already tried to beat Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Kirby Star Allies, Kirby Triple Deluxe, and Kirby Planet Robobot without jumping, we've even invited a couple of guest stars to give it a go. Now we bring on another 3, Bandana Waddle Dee, Magolor, and Adeleine & Ribbon so let's see if you can beat Kirby Star Allies with these Guest Stars without jumping. Is it possible to succeed at this challenge? Let's find out.

magalor has even more jump replacements than are shown! if you hold down the block button in mid air, magalor will vanish, and you will be able to move around in the air very quickly and be COMPLETELY INVINCIBLE. the only requirement is that you can get into the air, and that can be done with any of magalor's jump replacements. even ultra sword will do the trick.

Magolor's Jump Replacements do INDEED have a weakness! His primary form of vertical mobility is rather slow, making it difficult to rise quickly. So his only weakness is "Slow Vertical Mobility", though with how Kirby Games are this is rarely an issue.

There is also his air dodge ability which he forgot to cover, Magolor can use a portal to be both out of the way of attacks and move around the screen freely, and this can be continually done in the air without landing. I believe it’s also faster movement than the magic spheres

I’d also like to point out that Magolor’s giant sword lets him float a little bit while he’s swinging. So even if there was a blockade in the way, he could just wipe it out of existence.

I just had the stupidest idea for a challenge video ever. Is it possible to beat Hyrule warrior's age of calamity while only parying/shield blocking? The only way you can attack is by pushing ZL and Y. Divine beasts don't count and sealing Ganon doesn't count either.

Actually, Vah Rudanya has a counter-attack with talises so Mabey you could only use that.

Rudania's counterattack is REALLY bad, and doesn't even work on Taluses half the time. There's also the whole dying to a single Lynel issue. Rudania is just really bad compaired to the other Divine Beasts in general because it doesn't have Intercept or a shield to protect against Lynels, explosive barrels, wizzrobe spells and Guardian shots, particularly since its main weapon isn't very good at killing or interrupting Lynels, its melee is very short-range, its secondary has very few I-frames compaired to the full execution window (you are vulnerable while aiminfmg AND while the attack is landing, and oly get I-frames for a second with the tail slam animation) and is generally clunky, on top of it not being at all fast-moving or mobile. In terms of power tiering, the Divine beasts are definatly Naboris>Medoh>>>Ruta>>>>>>Rudania. Ruta makes up for being not as strong as Naboris and Medoh by having maps that suit its better points and so doesn't feel weak when playing it, but Medoh and especially Naboris have some really powerful (bordering on OP) stuff. Also, you CAN attack while using Intercept in two ways: 1. You can trample stuff while using it, and quite a lot of stuff in fact. 2. When a prjectile gets near, the Divine Beast shoots it, and this shot can damage enemies right in front of you. If the intercepted projectile is an explosive barrel, the explosion can also kill enemies. Note that the shot has a cooldown and won't hit every single incoming projectile, but the ones it doesn't shoot won't damage you while you are using Intercept anyway.

4:32 you can also quickly press down up and b to use ultra sword which lets you fly while it's active gives you complete invincibility frames while active and has an enormous hitbox and does enormous damage to bosses you can even chain them together to fly with it!

Great video! I would like to point out that the boss dream friends (Magolor, Marx, Daroach, and the Mage Sisters) all have air dodges that allow them to move around the screen pretty freely, and although they are limited in movement amount you can simply press shield again to repeat the process, making it a fast and easily maneuverable infinite jump replacement! The only downside is that for Magolor at least you aren’t already in a position to do stuff like break blocks, so in those cases the magic spheres would be better. Edit: also still hoping the idea of getting through Guest star without left or right inputs gets covered on this channel, so far I’ve succeeded in all but two level sections: the another dimensions reference (moving walls in the water) and the section where you must climb to the top as blocks get picked up by the rising ground Update: Went back and did more attempts, while extremely difficult, using a Meta Knight ally it is marginally possible to beat the rising ground level, so all that is left is the RTDL reference level

4:32 The only con I can think of is that while charging the magic sphere, you are mostly defenseless and with the surge, tight platforming is going to be a bit more of a challenge because you go very fast and very far

I tried bandana dee before you and i can safely say that the jump on 9:48 is possible without friends. I you hold the b button while you are on top of the water for a bit and then ( always holding b ) you press up on the d-pad for jumping out of the water you should have the spear copter charged and you can start flying before you fall in to the water again, letting you proceed without jumping or with the help of a blade knight. P.S. sorry for my english, it isn't my first language.

I think a potential weakness of Magolor is that there’s no happy medium with his jump replacements. There’s a fast one, and a slow one, but no normal speed ability. However, he’s still really good, and that’s a situational weakness.

CMeeCraft Gaming: Magolor, what are your jump replacements? Me: Yes. In all seriousness though, most of my moveset can be helpful in the air. Magic Sphere, Magolor Surge, Ultra Sword, Teleport. Hey, even Gem Apple Bombs and Black Hole can stall in the air. Literally 2 moves that can only be used on the ground don't help, and that's still insane.

I think Beetle is good for a no Jump Spiral Uppercut is a great Jump replacement, Rocket Horn can easily cross gabs, it can ground stakes, cut ropes and has a friend Throw ability

Challenge Idea How many hearts can you get in Kirby Star Allies Heroes in Another Dimension without Friend abilities (Friend Throw, Curling Stone, Psychokenisis, etc)? Rules: Weapon element combinations, jumping/floating and the Friend Circle/Bridge/Train/Star are still allowed, but stuff like Friend Throws or Ice/Clean/Water Curling cannot be used.

I’m not completely sure about it, as I haven’t ever had a chance to play Magolor’s guest star, I don’t own a Switch as shocking and sad as it is, but this section at 12:20 reminds me of Nutty Noon, where there’s a similar section, and within the Nutty Noon level, a bomb you have to pick up and bring to a bunch of blocks not breakable by anything else, in order to reach a door to and extra room, in which that key part seems to be kinda the same way, except the bomb is time limited

you can also use Giant Sword if you need to attack while moving at Magic Sphere speed.

While not a major con for Magalor, Magic Sphere is slow. Magalor Surge is an easy way to work around it, but Magic Sphere is really only good for precision stuff, if you have an open area.

I recommend doing guest star jammerjab jumpless next. He actually has quite a few things at his disposal like if he’s in the air (regardless if he jumped or not) he can do a pole vault and gain SERIOUS height and distance. And bluster staff just make it better.

I have an idea for you, how about a challenge where you have to beat Luigis Mansion 3 withiut ever moving in a fight. You can turn around and burst but no moving at all otherwise, not even as Gooigi. Ive tried to do this and i believe it has to be a minimum run. Also a fight only counts as fight if ur locked in, the battle music starts, the ghosts are hostile and the ghosts are capturable. TIP: bombs are good for moving so get alot of gold bones
