Can You Beat Lego Star Wars TCS If Every Enemy Has A Lightsaber? (Original Trilogy)

4 жыл бұрынThe most iconic weapon in Star Wars is by far the lightsaber. The weapons of choice for Jedi and Sith, it takes great skill to wield one and normal people can't use them effectively. But what if there was an alternate universe where everyone could use a lightsaber AND everyone had the force. This is actually possible to do in Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga through modding. I decided to mod all the enemies in the original trilogy (stormtroopers, boba fett, imperial officers, tusken raiders, etc) to carry a lightsaber and use Luke Skywalker's combat style. This video is all about the entertaining stuff that came out of that playthrough.

James Esterline, the original idea was to have multiple stormtrooper Sith Lords, with Darth Vader being their leader. This later inspired the concept of Inquisitors and Fallen Order’s Purge Troopers.

It’s kinda funny, when Star Wars was being written, it was planned that everyone would carry lightsabers. All the stormtroopers would carry one along with a shield.

It was always weird to me the empire never really offered much to help storm troopers fight a Jedi besides the one trooper in force awakens that fought fynn. Like guess palps figured the shields and all that would cost too many credits... Even tho he is the senate

The Jon Brown Show Well by the time the Empire was established most of the Jedi were dead. And bedsides it was proven how effective troops could kill Jedi with their high numbers.

@@205mohamad good point with most of them being dead, but they should atleast still be prepared if the Jedi got some spiritual successor group to replace them, with lightsabers in hand, plus for the sheer number thing, wasn't that more so for the clone troopers that were mandolorian(can't spell and auto correct is useless, but you know what I mean) so they were just genetically better than regular hire/drafted storm troopers? Tho I could see them being effective too, but Palpatine could atleast afford a lightsaber class type shield for troops

I'm not entirely sure if dual wielding is possible in TCS engine. It wasn't introduced in actual gameplay until LEGO Star Wars III, which was on a different version of the LEGO Games engine.

To make part 2 harder, make all enemies have double hearts (including bosses). And every time you die in a level, you have to take a shot of hard alcohol. Anyway, good video.

To do that you have to see if the models are compatible with each other animations, and im pretty sure they aren't considering the Magma Guard model is not a minifigure

The stormtroopers were originally meant to use lightsabers. There wasn't so much budget for special effects though so the lightsaber is now a much more iconic and rare weapon than it was supposed to be. Honestly, god bless the low budget of the original trilogy.

SixToon I know how to mod stuff in the game as well but Are the instructions simple? Do I just have to switch their code to “Jedi” then it’ll work?

i kind of did it through trial and error but basically lets say you wanted to mod the stormtrooper. you have to delete the text line “blaster” from his thing then insert jedi, then you have to copy all the lines of text for lightsaber animations from luke skywalker and also copy the part that says streak=blue and streak placement 3,4 or something like that. then you have to copy all the actual files for the animations from luke skywalkers folder and paste them into the stormtrooper folder. it took me a few tries to get it all working right. like i also tried to count dookus animations on the stormtrooper but they didnt work for some reason luke skywalkers moveset works for a lot of characters
