I started to feel the same way towards the end of the challenge, so I think I’m just gonna use the region’s element, as much as I can to see how much can be made. And if I have to swap, oh well

@@mistahfeet I'm surprised you didn't mention how towards the end of the childe fight, he uses two elements at once, rendering your rule completely irrelevant. I'd say just use whatever he has in the cutscenes at the time.

I remember preparing for my first ascension domain 😆 where I literally had to watch tutorials of how to kill Aleph with relative ease and most of the videos I watched they seemed to be struggling quite a lot which made me nervous but at the same time gave me hope, so I maxed all the required elements as far as they could go, maxed their weapons as well, and then I prepared a massive amount of food and as I went in, it seemed pretty easy since I already had Wanderer and he was already pretty strong. Until the Aleph part... I struggled half the time trying to dodge it's attacks while in the mean time saving all my bursts and then when I got to the prism part I couldn't do it on time and had a literal panic when I saw that it's hp was like half the bar and then when I finally got it on the 2nd try I had to try and calm down while maintaining my joy and happiness inside- Edit: I just realized I replied to the wrong comment🤦‍♀️ buuut I'm too lazy to redo it again on THAT comment now sooooooooo, sorry if I made it sound as if it's all about me sorry I didn't bother looking at the names😔

yea traveler literally used the anemo skill and the geo burst when we were fighting childe

he doesn't switch, he simply has all unlocked elements available at all times. And rather frequently uses all available elements (for that part of the story) in cutscenes from the Childe fight onwards. IMO they need to overhaul the traveller, merge all the elements together with a giant Constellation tree Branching out from the main traveller tree that grows as he gains new elements), share talent levels between elements (having to unlock the Cons is IMO more than enough extra effort for the traveller as you typically need to full/near full clear most regions to get all the Traveler Cons these days (standardize burst cost across all elements, give it a refund on use or bonus energy generation if you want to create a somewhat cheaper burst), and allow the traveller to use the Aim-mode button (which is the only button I could think of the Traveler doesn't use at all and would be free) to cycle through elements with a tap or hold to open a radial quick swap menu (on console iirc, that's one of the thumb sticks, which should be enough enough to click through or use in a radial menu. PC would be a little bit clunkier as while R is easy to tap, holding it and mouse-directing would be a little bit more awkward). With you being able to customize the Traveler's element load out to fine tune your element order or disable elements that you don't plan to use. I.e. if you wanted to run a dual-element traveler, swapping elements would be super simple since you'd just tap the aim-mode button, where as doing more complicated combos that can't simply cycle through the elements in order would need to use the radial menu to switch.
