Challenge idea: MHWI but you cannot upgrade anything. E.g. you can craft any weapon outright, such as deviljho or bone or iron weapons etc from the smithy and armoury. However, you cannot upgrade any weapons at all, no kinsects, no weapon upgrades, nada. Armour you can't use armour spheres to upgrade their defense. This also includes augments, has to be base weapons and armour with tho upgrades at all!

the fact i only watched the other one about a week ago means that i didnt have much long to wait before i got to see another, will watch soon.... edit: blackveil is the worst even with your weapon, counting this as a win playthrough (worst fight in the game.. second to at namielle... third to ancient leshen)

Ancient leshen wasn’t that bad at least compared to normal leshen because you could actually call backup and at least ancient leshen isnt FUCKING ALATREON

@@VoxTek426 how does one find ancient leshen better than alatreon when it has a one shot move on endgame gears, stops you from moving for 90% of the fight and swarms you with jagras while having nearly as much health as fatalis and not standing still for one second.

@@VoxTek426 unfortuanetly trying to solo either one does end up making ancient leshen a lot harder since it aint exactly made for solo anyways, it also has more health than fatalis or something, maybe a bit less i forgot

Challenge idea off the top of my head: Roll a new weapon for every main mission - You might get to try new playstyles and it should be a big run that you could split into parts with a ton of potential for usually easy challenges becoming hard and usually hard challenges becoming easy! It's also a very streamable run, if you ever decide to go that route, due to possible required farming!

Are you going to do the title update monsters up to fatalis? (excluding alatreon, because that will obviously be impossible due to certain attack) Also are you going to do the same challenge on rise? (up to primordial Malzeno) (I believe that the palamutes add a certain variety) (and yes I count free title update monsters as part of the progression... which means final boss of high rank/base game is crimson glow valstrax)

@Bison-Storytime Lemon from The Backlogs did a kinsect only run for base world and, yeah there wasn't much variety you can really do. But I personally would like to see your take on it. If for no other reason than to have more content from you. This and the Base World version were the first videos of yours I've watched and so far I'm loving your content!

Brooooo you forgot pawswap, would've been so helpful With pawswap you can equip tailraiders with demon powder, traps, barrel bombs and even healing items

@@Bison-Storytime Ye, it's a very limited list of items: Lifepowder, Herbal Powder, Hardshell Powder, Demon Powder, Pitfall Trap, Shock Trap and Large Barrel Bombs You only need to give one of each

To cycle the farm, Are Event Quests off limits? Theres a 1Star Master Rank Event to deliver Iceblooms and with Botanist skills you can do this in seconds from the central camp. M★1 FLORA FROSTBITE

I feel at this point I couldn't progress mathematically much further without bombs, and past that there would be no new strategy variety or anything to talk about. at most it would be a 5 minute compilation of me killing stuff and that sounds boring

You can trade guild cards and get a level 50 palico with a meowlotov from someone online. Technically no co-op, because you don't even need to play with the person - just join their lobby once. 2 Meowcanoes should be enough to down Blackveil Vaal hazak.

I used a master rank safi jiva heavy bowgun, which was heavily upgraded, with normal ammo 1 against high rank barons. Took longer than expected to defeat them.

That's JUST as much of a rule break as using bombs, one of my rules at the beginning of the run was no mods Also, the time limit is a natural part of the game that adds a complex issue for me to deal with. If there was no time limit, ANY challenge run could be possible. But that's not really the point

Idea of challenge run pretty simple but not as simple as well can think : Beat MHW(I) without using endurance AT ALL like ANY (so obviusly no hammer or bow or kinsectglaive)
