Klinklang is my favorite Steel-type. Used it in a Showdown battle, and it really came in clutch against my opponent, so I came to adore this gear grinder.

The fact that Keegan didn't do this on Violet, the one where all the paradox pokemon, including the ride pokemon, are literally robots is slightly disappointing. Great vid though.

I'm actually dying of laughter. I did the same challenge in Violet not long ago (with similar rules, so thank you Keegan for the inspiration there) and I also made my protagonist into an AI. She was an android from the future that Turo had reprogrammed to help him take over the world, but she ended up turning on him and destroying the Time Machine with an orbital laser.

So explanation for that rain thing at like 14:00 . The weather is selected when battle starts and even if overworld weather changes (which is on a cycle) it won't change mid battle. So it can look like it isn't raining but still be raining.

Depending on your route, if you fight Larry early like before brassius because I took on brassius last you can fight nemona before the gym battle with Larry and Nemona instead of having fully evolved pokemon your deal with a rockruff and the middle evolution of fuecoco

Scizor is by far my favorite steel type, but honestly I think it’s because he’s part bug too. Bug type Pokémon to me are usually really cool and have clever twists on their design (dwebble being a hermit crab with a rock instead of a shell for example) But staying with Steel, Scizor is my fav, with Lucario being a close second, and steelix and bronzong being the coolest looking ones i remember seeing in Pokémon platinum and HGSS

Watching your videos inspired me to do a scarelet run using only electric types. Going pretty well atm

@keegsn j you can actually battle with your ride Pokémon you have to watch the credits and then beat the game to add Koradion and Miraidon to your party. Once they unlock the ability to battle, players can switch between their battle and ride forms from the pause menu

as a steel type trainer myself, i can confirm yes you can. in fact its hardly even a struggle. the hardest part was finding them when the game first came out.

My favourite Steel type Pokémon is Duraludon. I don't know, I just like that big CHONKY skyscraper once it Dynamax. (My 2nd favourite is Metagross btw)

There were two steel types that Keegan missed. The first one is that if you completed the language teachers mission he will give you a steel type meoth from Pokémon sword and shield. The second one was if you did violet instead of scarlet the fourth Titian being the great tusk it will be lron threads a ground and steel type.

Beldam i remember when i first every had one was in pokemon ruby after the elite 4 and his shinny omg just perfect

Tera Stellar challenge. Each gym/Titan battle must be defeated with the Stellar type, no using moves that change to match the Tera type either. All Pokemon from all DLC can be used, but the more options you have the longer the setup will be. As you'll need to use a 2nd game to breed each Pokemon (stats can be maxed out if you like) then turn them into Stellar Tera types then trade them to the game you'll be doing the playthrough on. Only Stellar Pokemon can be used during the Operation Starfall boss, Gyms, and Titan battles. Due to not being able to attack unless in Stellar form, you'll basically be limited to one Pokemon per battle. However, regular trainers and Team Star grunts don't apply for the Stellar bashing. I want to see this, but I can't find enough Stellar shards despite playing through the game in full 20 times. My Pokemon glitches after I put them into Pokemon home, resulting in them reverting to one of the type(s) they were before I changed there type. If I change a Fletching's Tera type from flying to Stellar, my Pokemon home glitches afterwards, then it sometimes has a random Tera type. This affects my shiny Pokemon the most, as it has an odd tendency to also remove the shiny stats from it. I think this has something to do with my phone/game system getting hacked as I don't think anyone else is having these problems.😢 It might also explain why I no longer have the DLC in my game. The Nintendo eShop even says I never bought it, but I only have one user on my Switch. (Exception for when I'm trading to evolve, as I found that I have issues if I don't make a temporary user to trade back and forth with, but I deleted those users once I'm done with them. I recently checked one I made. Somehow, my DLC has glitched onto the temp. User. No I didn't accidentally buy the DLC on the wrong username. That wouldn't be possible as I only buy Nintendo eShop stuff from my Nintendo Switch that always only has one user [I have 2 Switch Systems] so I don't make a mistake like that. Don't know what happened. Nor do the people I reported it to. They seem to think I'm trying to scam them. Why? No clue.)

If steel sub-types are included, I think my favorite steel-type pokemon is kingambit. They literally look like samurai with katana blades on their heads. I also like the way the Pokémon in the kingambit line are named after chess pieces.
