Sooo...I guess I was wrong about the glitch being patched! Fly freely, friends. Edit: I haven't tested it because I'm still on 1.1.0, but the word is that L-menu cancelling, which allows the infinite height glitch, was patched in 1.2.0. I don't have confirmation of this, though.

BTW, for future challenges, there's a no puzzle blessing shrine in gerudo highlands. Don't even need to jump in a well, it's just sitting on a mountain.

You don't need that glitch for the ultrahand shrine, you can just hit the hook then shield surf on the rail. You can get to the gacha machine next to the ascend shrine with stamina food. Anyway good video!

I don’t think that’s physically possible. There are some shrines that you 100% need to use runes for or it won’t work.

@@mobamba4282I think it’s 100% possible. Proof is that all but 2 have been proven to be possible (that is to my knowledge). The other two should be possible. The most difficult is surprising Kisinona.

It might have been more effective to gain the phantom armor instead of the Barbarian armor as it has more defense and looks cooler. It also has the same exact attack bonus.

You're... not far off, actually. Zuggling (the glitch abused in Any% pre-1.1.2 to get infinite damage and skip the boss rush among other things) actually uses the map rune to buffer. It doesn't skip GSI, but it does skip pretty much everything else lmao.

The most likely ability require to skip the GSI is fuse and ultrahand combined, to do a text dive with a korok. You need ultrahand to make some sort of vehicle to control where you’re going, and fuse to perform FE to get pushed off the wing.

Great video! Good on you for promising something impressive and delivering on it with style! Really good scripting, entertaining voice work, and a good framing of problems in addition to their solutions. It's important that the viewer understands how hopeless something seems before you deliver the solution, and you did a great job on the Recall Shrine specifically!

Super underrated. U take challenges to the extreme. I suggested the “Medal Hunter” before. Idk if u remember or if u wanna do it, but it’d be great to watch. The rules are beat every dungeon with the loot acquired from the mini bosses that have medals of honors, and u can buy stuff by selling the loot and every Medal of Honor must be acquired. There are 6 of them. Most of ur challenge runs are way above others with mils of subs. Keep of the amazing work.

Maybe just announce that ur allowed to use runes for temples and mini bosses where it’s absolutely required to like the frost gleeok phase at quarter health. I mean u just can’t use runes for everything else and every medal must be obtained.

14:34 the only time I ever could have used an octo balloon in thia game was when I upgraded every piece of armor, there might be an armor piece that requires one though I am not even sure of that. Octo balloons are so outclassed lmao

Just a heads up, it is possible to reach the wing dispenser on the tutorial island without any runes. In my casual playthrough, for some reason I went up the cold area without going to the locked door at the Temple of Time first. You have to push one of the wooden boxes out of the nearby ruined building, towards the little platform where you would use ascend, and then you can climb onto the box, and from there, onto the upper area.

There’s 3 other ways. You can spawn other zonai parts to do basically the same thing, or you could just climb the walls (there’s 2 spots that I’ve done this hence 2 other ways).

There is another way up to recall, I found it in my casual playthrought, just get lots of stamina food and climb up the roots leading down, which is possible without fast travel as well, hope this helps if you plan to do this run again!

This is amazing, but you could have gotten enough blessings to get the master sword so you could have a decently reliable highish damage weapon as you go about. And then for the final fight you could have gone to the demon statue to trade out your stamina for hearts and still have the master sword to use.

I did no ascend and ultrahand because I don't like ascend, but getting around it in the plateau was interesting. Also pro tip there are 2 more bomb flowers at the right wall of the cave. Also next to the ascend shrine there is a box you can push to gain leverage and jump over to the wing section.

Ascend is one of the most straightforward abilities in the game. Why dislike it? I'd rather have the option to ascend through problems than build another contraption.

The wing dispenser is accessible. I did it by pushing a box near the root platform near the Ascend shrine (from the little building nearby), jumping up, then carefully climbing the broken stairs to the dispenser.

for the final obstacle course on GSI, speedrunners deploy a wing while running, a bit before they get to the edge, then run onto the wing they just deployed and then to the next platform

Instead of tight rope walking across rails, you can EASILY shield surf and it locks you onto the rail

a useful way to kill lynels: use your highest-damage weapon, and either shoot it in the face with a bow, or dodge its charge and sprint up while it catches its breath, and climb on its back. the attacks while you ride it deal no durability damage, so its free-ish damage! and once you get good at hitting headshots on lynels, it kind of trivializes them

I was playing a game on Roblox called The Rake: Remastered when I got the notification for this video. I got to the most cheesy spot in the game by the power station (where you can climb on a ledge you aren't supposed to so the rake can't get you) and I clicked on this video! Wow great video. I’m currently on the newest version attempting a no rune, not zonai tech ,no magic(as in stuff like gems) and no purahs slate. It’s difficult but this video really helped with some parts I’m struggling with. ( Maybe you should try itXD)
