Hyperdefensive builds will always be my favorite. It's too fun to see a boss that would normally one-shot do close to no damage. It's a feeling like no other.

I knew immediately why you would fight Deerclops first in this run: he doesn't despawn when you die. That fact is burned into my brain, because when my sister fought him for the first time, she died over two dozen times. Her spawn point was within 10 seconds' walking distance of the boss, too, so she couldn't get a break.

TIP : if you spammed healing on the nurse while fighting moon lord and don't close the nurse , she won't be able to heal her self , you must leave the nurse's healing window for her to heal herself

ive always thought that all these accessories were pretty under utilized in the game, mostly bc most of them arent that good compared to others at the same point. and for a while now ive wanted to see a challenge run where they were used. limiting what you can do in the game doesnt tend to be too fun and not many of these challenges change how you play the game so i dont tend to do them so its nice to see them done by someone else

i really love this challenge runs, you always find a way to play terraria vastly differently than the normal way. You always bring something new to see and it will always amaze me. Keep up the good content.

Well that is possible, I once saw someone on discord who SOMEHOW managed to make it to pre plantera with MINECART RAM ONLY DAMAGE. Which technically counts as this challenge, and some guy on KZfaq managed to beat the game with traps only damage, I forgot his name but if you've watched his video, you know who. Which now deffinetly counts as part of this challenge.

I watch a lot of terraria videos and this is probably my favorite video so far this year. Really creative and uses some lesser used items. Great audio and editing too!

On the moonlord, would it be possible to use the contact damage with the hands once the eyes pop to trigger some of your damaging accessories like the star cloak?

For getting back to spawn faster, use the sand bed trick. Break a block that forms the room for where you've placed your bed, and then a pillar of blocks above that, place a block of sand on the side of the pillar so it'll fall into place, completing the room, but recall before it lands, then do whatever you need to and recall back.

There wasn't anything stopping you from using both the bone helm _and_ the volatile gelatin.

Considering how much times he took contact damage, i wonder why he didn't use turtle armor (which you can get before plantera)

Challenge idea: Beat Terraria as a summoner, but you can't touch any of your summons the entire time or you die

by the first sound of it, summoner should work you're not attacking your minions are but oh well it would be too easy then

Ok I’m SO sorry that you were doing this alongside the hgss entei/raikou hunt. I successfully completed the Raikou one a few years back. I literally was able to soft reset for a specific tid I wanted in platinum before I got it

Well I tested something when I saw the mechanics u used in this run and well I found out that although the devs removed *mini cloaking* they didn't think about *sand cloaking* if u have enough damage reduction and def u can take 1-3 dmg from sand and with a correct setup u can make stars rain on ur target it only really works on Queen Slime and the destroyer it is very useful for this type of run

for wall spikes is also an option as well with the honey comb if you have enough defense. Awhile ago that was a strat we would use in some hc runs, get spikes throughout the entire arena and just walk on them, as well as having a bunch of defensive accessories and sharktooth necklaces it shredded wall. Was it the best strat for a hc run? no not really that's why we don't use it much anymore, but it was fun to do.

I actually did this playthrough a while back, but I started with the damage accessories, used the bone glove(with a gold shortsword) and utilized summons
