First, a voiceless bilabial plosive, then, a voiced alveolar lateral approximant, then, a close back rounded vowel, at the end, a voiced bilabial nasal. In that order! I'm a competitive debate champion, I just wanted to talk about the Ploob lawyers' arguments. Starting at 12:05 this is fantastic, the lawyers run what's called a "de-link". Doug had spent too much time on the usage argument but what chat did here delinks that argument so it no longer applies to the affirmative plan (Ploob). This argument alone wins the case for me, without the usage argument Doug doesn't have a leg to stand on because his remaining arguments are;t as strong as the writer as an expert witness.

His tongue was up in the frame where he pronounced the first consonant of the word, and it had been down in other frames where he was pronouncing vowels following consonants without a palative sound before, whereas it went down when he pronounced the oo sound, meaning it was drawn to reflect the sound he's making. It was ploob.

I have a very funny feeling that whoever came up with the name "Poob" during that stream never actually intended to reference Star Wars at all and just thought it was just a funny word. Because if that's the case, that's even more hilarious because this man single handedly caused a whole argument among star wars pronunciation all because of a funny word that Poobed in his head.

In real life, in supreme courts, it can take as long as 1.5 years for a case to be processed. This isnt that unrealistic.
