Can You Clean Mildew Golf Cart / Boat Vinyl Seats With Out Touching Them?

Today I try cleaning some golf cart seats that have mildew on them with out physically touching or scrubbing the seats. This works rather well, However I wouldnt try this with aftermarket seat covers but Im willing to try it with these old seats. Use At Your Own Risk!

Hey there, another product you should try is Miracle Mist… it’s specifically formulated for marine vinyl and fiberglass. We used it on our RV canvas awning that was just nasty and black with mold and mildew. Miracle Mist totally obliterated all the mold and mildew on the awning and the body of our RV. All we did was rinse it off, 100% touchless. One word of caution though, when purchasing it, unscrew the cap a little and smell it, it should have a very slight smell of bleach. I bought two bottles and someone had returned one of the bottles to the store filled with water after using the contents. When sprayed on the mold and mildew you’ll be amazed at how it turns all the nasty stuff orange and it literally disappears before your eyes. Miracle Mist can be found at most Walmart’s, Ace Hardware, etc. we buy it by the gallon now because we’ve never found anything else that works better than it.

Why waste your money on Miracle Mist at $30/gallon when all it is is regular bleach (Sodium hypochlorite) and color safe bleach (Sodium Percarbonate )?

@@N-M424 Well, I don't know where you buy your Miracle Mist, because I've never paid more than $15 for a gallon. Regular bleach doesn't penetrate the mold and mildew the way MM does. It's all in the way it's processed. MM for me is far superior to regular bleach in the fight against mold and mildew here in the deep South. I prefer to work smarter than harder; for me, MM does that. It was just a suggestion.

@@sarathompson9526 Amazon...$29.99/gallon or you can spend double per ounce at $34 and get (2) 32 oz sprays. Miracle Mist has "regular bleach" in it. You can make your own "Miracle Mist" for 1/10th the cost is my point. I am not saying it doesn't work, I am saying you are OVER paying for someone to package something for you.

I have used a magic eraser and it works great and no bleach fumes or the potential for collateral damage to other parts.

Well sure it will clean it But over a years you will notice your cart will start to rust out. Rinse with backing soda and a lot of water.

The reed switch in the charger plug throw me off on a lithium conversion in a txt. When I removed the plug the cart didn’t run till I figured out I had to wire it back up. Looking forward to see your ezgo conversion. Great tip on the pool bleach, a lot cheaper than the “ Jo max” house cleaner I use.

On my carts with back seats and universal candy cane roof supports. I just chop the bottom off of the supports to lower them down.

Nothing to do with this video but. I got a lithium battery installed in my club car precedent now my stereo doesn’t hold any memory is there anyway around this. Maybe you can do a video on it. Thank-you for all your videos. Sal

Tell me more about your cart. Does the cart have a dc converter in it? The radio should have 1 ground and 2 power cables. Red is ignition and Yellow is memory. Make sure the red is being turned on or only has power when the key is on and the yellow has constant power when the cart is on or off.

@@Fentertainment it has a converter on it. The person who hooked it up says there is no way to keep a constant live for the radio. As it is a lithium battery. BTW. I am also a Christian and I know GOD is blessing you. Keep up the good work.

Should have added a warning about wearing clothes you don't care about. Just yesterday I washed my zero-turn mower with a product called "30-seconds" that contains bleach, and a really nice t-shirt was speckled white. From past experience, those spots will become holes in the near future. You need to rinse your dogs pads off with water when he gets into it like that. He could experience chemical burns in concentrations that high.

it not realy the bleach. ita all about the SH that is found in bool shock and bleach. using the pool shock gives you 12 percent sh while bleach at the store only gives between 1 and 2 percent. also poo shock is far cheaper

Free Tip: If you use SOS pads on those rims they'll come up like new. You might get a more dollars for them if they're shiny lol. I want to do a Ezgo TXT, with a Storm body kit, but It's hard to find them cheap over here. No matter the condition. It's amazing what that did to your fence.

@@Fentertainment I'm a chef by trade, so washed a lot of pots and pas over the yrs. I also build dirt bikes, so I've been using them on all my alloy parts for years. I'm not sure what kind of SOS pads you have over there, but, don't get stainless steel ones, they're a bit to abrasive. I'm pretty sure you'll be stoked with the results.
