My 90 yr. young (WW2 survivor) Oma used to sing me and all babies to sleep with this song

For some reason I had this song recurring in my mind. An old memory, from when I ended up being a solo performance from an intended quartet at Junior School Harvest Festival. I could remember the music, but only the first line. So, I decided to look it up to once more find the lyrics :) To my amazement though I discovered all the tunes I found are way different from the one I sang. Funny that
