Can you do the Geometry Dash RobTop levels using only 4X speed or only 3X speed? The way this video works is that I start on 4x speed, see how far I can get into a level, and then when we can't get any further, we start again at 3x speed. We then see how far we can get and compare which speed we can get the furthest in. The results will surprise you!

0.5x speed is actually 0.77777x speed 2x is 1.22222x speed 3x is 1.77777x speed and i dont remember what 4x speed is

The reason 3x speed is awkward is because 3x is 1.7 times speed but 4x is exactly 2x speed

assuming 1x speed is 1x speed, 3x speed is ~1.502x speed and 4x speed is ~1.849x speed

@@Therealjosso notice how when you jump over an amount of spikes, you are jumping before the spikes, and then landing after the spikes. This means you have to jump a block further than the amount of spikes there actually are. 1x speed can jump over a triple spike meaning it has to jump four blocks. 4x speed can jump over a sextuple spike meaning it has to jump seven blocks. four doubled is eight, not seven. 4 × 0.75 = 3, 4 × 1.25 = 5, 4 × 1.5 = 6, 4 × 1.75 = 7. That's what the speeds are based off on. But it ends up being half speed = ~0.807x, 2x speed = ~1.243x, 3x speed = ~1.502x, 4x speed = ~1.849x as there was some tuning done for spike amts as well as game engine just being whacky The reason 4x speed is 1.849x and not close to 1.75x is because the cube is still moving forward as it's jumping up which means 1.75x is unable to clear sextuples spikes as by the time you've travelled one block forward, you still haven't gotten high enough to be above the spikes.

For 3x speed on deadlocked, you technically can get more. After going through the mini wave portal, you can skip the cube portal after. Watch the Neiro video about the weirdest deadlocked completion.

At 3x speed deadlocked, you can possibly maneuver the wave through the spikes that aren't solid and skip the cube portal, allowing you to be mini wave through the whole cube section!
