Welcome to Chaos League episode 2. The theme of this episode is AI/Pathfinding. Chaos League is my marble race series that spawns YOU in. Create your character with custom images, colors, victory messages and more. Climb the leaderboards and see how you rank among the competition.
How do I join for free? It’s simple, just become a valid patron at / doodlechaos and you will be spawned in to the next Chaos League video automatically! You can join for FREE with Patreon’s new “Free Trial” feature! I’ve maxed out the duration, so you can spawn in at least 2 videos before it expires. The higher tier you pick, the easier it will be to spot your character in the crowd. (PSA: If you cancel before the video comes out, I won't be able to draw your information from the API and you won't spawn in. Custom pledges below "Doodler" tier will not spawn in.)

How do I customize my marble?
Your marble will be spawned in with your current Patreon profile picture image. Display names are taken from your Patreon name as well. You can update these at any time on Patreon. Other customization options (such as victory message and name color) must be modified by logging in with your Patreon account at doodlechaos.com. Don’t forget to add a victory message to display on the top ten leaderboard!

I just wanna say props the green power-button lookin guy at 1:45 they survived quite a while on the edge. Had to be singlehandedly extracted and targeted by both Doodles to get killed.

This makes me think of one of those channels that does AI battle like they make a scenario and have two or four colors fight each other or have a lot of colors have a race and trying to survive it makes me think of one of those but I can't remember the program they use but I know one of them has an orange symbol as the icon

You know, even though it probably isn't feasible, I wonder what would happen if these circles were player-controlled, instead of ai. Would they form a giant jiggly mass, or spread out to not get caught on the outside, or a mix of both, or maybe something else entirely? I do know that if they were player controlled, it would take forever to get down to 1 player as they could juke out the black boxes. And now that I think about it, I wonder if the AI was allowed to run for long enough, and was given the correct inputs, could it learn how to dodge the black boxes and live forever?

A single circle/player can learn the pattern and dodge everything, but it gets much more complicated than that if there are 2 or more circles. Each circle has to think about its own survival, and that also means sacrificing the other circles when possible (either push other players towards the black boxes, or use them as a shield).
