My buddy NJTech and I took our DJI Avata 2's out for a rip! theres nothing more fun than enjoying hobbies with mates, especially flying! Chasing another RC aircraft is such a lot of fun I had massive grin on my face for the entire time!

Thanks for this video, very impressive, far beyond my capabilities being new to FPV. The Avata is my first FPV drone and I’m enjoying every second of it. The chase view is something else.

Great footage mate! Curious to know how you’re getting audio of the drone in your recording or is it being picked up by the GoPro?

Does the avata 2 feel better in the air than the original? I really wanna buy one of the avatas, but since the first one is on a big discount currently I'm more leaning towards the original. Would you say the differences are big or just some small changes? (In case you got the first one, btw I am aware of the camera differences)

New one defo flys better. There's just a bit more footprint, quieter and it doesnt have ducts, they are more like prop guards (better fpr stablikity). Camera is superior too.

It just worked! 2 x 60 megabit downlinks working simultaneously... amazing.

Yes, plan is to do more of this, it's great fun! We used both DJI Avatas on stock settings and they automatically select different channels, it's incredible really that 2 x 60Mb links operate side by side absolutely flawlessly.

@@andykirbyThanks for your comment. I have just had the Avata 2 for 1 week and it is a pleasure to fly. Now that I can fly reasonably well, I try to rotate 360 degrees around an object. Unfortunately, this doesn't work...do you have a good tip?

Do either of you normally wear spectacles Andy? I do so I am wondering how I would manage the goggles without being able to wear my spec's at the same time?

Is your speed locked? It's supposed to go 60-70mph in manual but it didnt seem like you were hardly breaking 40mph in this video! Just curious cause that might make a big difference when doing acro if they throttled you to 60% power

Yeah we weren't gunning it! It will do 60+ MPH easily.

Today a flew my old Avata and the new one at the same time following each other. One Motion Controller in the one hand and the other in the other hand. It is doable, the only problem is keeping the height of the first Avata since you cant see the "Target Ball" of the first one. It is like flying an Avata without the Googles...
