Respectfully, duolingo wont get you very far. Studying out of a real book, taking notes, and making flashcards is a far, far more effective use of your time and you'll learn like 10x as fast that way

@@Naoual_Faiz Im no expert; but my method worked very well so far. I use duolingo (not because its particularly good, but because its free) to get german words in my head. After a couple months of learning with just this, i started playing videogames with german speakers to get practice. Right now, i get much practice from playing fortnite with native speakers while also using duolingo daily. If im ever wondering a word, i use googletranslate and then i try to remember it as best i can. One good thing to do is compile all words u learn with duolingo/ Google translate on a google doc and review it occasionally. Thats how im doing it; i hope u find this helpful! :)

Hi, Very good question and you are right, here they are both translated with "you are". However, the expression in this video "wie geht's dir?" literally means "How is it going to you?", so "gehen - to go". In most other situations and literally "du bist" is the translation for "you are". I hope that helps and thanks for the questions 🙂

Hey, Just like in English there are a number of different words to say something is great or good. You could use "toll", "super" or even "großartig" and "ausgezeichnet".

You can use "Auf Wiedersehen" which is more formal, or "Tschüss", which works in any context 😊 Hope this helps!
