I am 5’7 weigh about 208lb I look like I’m about 170 I eat a lot of red meat and eggs , I do drink beer and eat fast food every once in awhile but I work atleast 3 times a week when I was younger it was every single day 2 times a day and because of that my heart rate when I sleep hits 30bpm when I walk around I’m about 50 when I work out hard for 2 hours it gets as high as 90 but that’s it. Why am I say this Because when I go to the doctor I am perfectly fine if any of you are similar don’t freak out get checked but more than likely your just like me and others were great!

I'm 61 and my heart rate on the norm has been 70/74 at rest all my adult life ... here of late, changes have taken place, it's down to 58/66 at rest . I've been praying and trusting God .

Mine is 49-55 resting. At night it will rest around 49. I'm a 40 y/o male with a few heart issues. The COVID vax screwed mine up. Had no problems prior to that.

I am 60 and my heart rate is 30 to 40 BPM. I was checked by a GP, and I am simply fit and healthy. I skate a lot, and I ran 10 km cross country several times a week for about 30 years.

Sitting or vegging my rate is 35 but if I start working I go up to 75 if I run/jog I’m around a 100 However, I always feel alert and energetic. I’ve been checked several times and have been told as long as I’m not dizzy or lethargic I’m good to go. First noticed in high school football physical.

Is a stress test safe when you have bradycardia? I'm due for one in April but I'm scared.

I got cv in January 2020. Six months later I tried to give blood and they told me I had a pulse to low to give blood. Heart doctor said I had bradycardia. Now I fatigued all the time. I played 2 x 14 min games of easy Pickleball. Felt a little dizzy in the middle of a point ran for a ball and tripped and fell. Would a pacemaker be the answer ? It really sucks cause my mind wants go but my heat says no .

I am a fairly fit 60-year-old male and occasionally have dips with slow heart rate of between 32 and 29 this can go on for a couple of days every 2 to 3 months the last time it happened my wife thought I was dead in the chair. She phone the ambulance and they took me to hospital. The cardiologist said I was okay it’s perfectly normal ????

I am surprised that no one mentioned that a slow heart beat can also be caused by too high a dose of beta blockers. My heart was beating close to 40 a while back and it is right back to normal now that my doctor cut the dose of Metoprolol each day.

The thing is, athletes and people who are extremely active tend to have a lower heart rate than others. So for example for Olympic athletes it’s normal to have a heart rate that is (way) lower than 60-80 bpm.

That's very low! You should get it definitely checked out with an ECG and an echo scan. I spend time with my dad with such levels and it affected his kidney function even and Is in critical care . Double check if it's not just your device being faulty . Best wishes
