There are many exemptions and you can just get your home kitchen certified as a commercial kitchen. You don’t have to be all stainless countertops. You can have granite. I have a wired 4’ shelf that holds all my separate pots, pans and storage, and 2nd fridge for prep. I got exemptions for non commercial range, Microwave, and refrigerator and freezer. Everything else was within standard. Also exempted fire suppression because I don’t serve customers in same building as kitchen.

"Thank u for sharing this info, I'm currently attending culinary school online getting my associates degree in plant-based culinary arts. I live in Georgia so cant wait for this to start. I was considering being a private chef for groups and online personal virtual cooking classes because of the current laws. Thanku."❤
