Forehead lines are horizontal wrinkles that are secondary to movement. They are more common in expressive personalities.

They tend to get deeper with age due to skin laxity & volume loss. Simple muscle relaxing injectables can improve lines by reducing muscle tension. Dermal fillers are cautiously used in this area to correct volume loss.

What can chemical peels do for forehead wrinkles?
Peels are great. Many people underestimate the power of chemical peels. Essentially there are two types of peels-
1. Superficial peels: glycolic acid, lactic acid. 5-7 peels over 8-12 weeks. No downtime.
2. Medium / deep peels: Jessner TCA peels. One peel, 7-10-day recovery.

Dermal fillers are great in locations such as the cheeks, chin, lips & jawline. I do use fillers in the forehead area, especially the temples. My filler of choice is hyaluronic acid in this location. Fillers displace loose skin & re-establishes the natural curvature of the forehead.
For mid-forehead lines, I place filler either very superficial or deep. The risks of arterial injection are higher in these areas, & hence why I use cannulas. Fillers last between 12 to 36 months. They are best employed with muscle relaxing injections.

Yeah, its super irritating for me because I'm only 15 and none of my other friends have them. I didn't even notice until someone in their 30's pointed it out, so now I cant stop thinking about them. If anyone finds any skincare that works for them, let me know.

@@tessa.hehehe I’ve found out that either argon oil or turmeric oil is helpful also aloe Vera is helpful for wrinkles aswell you can also get wrinkle cream aswell also massaging your forehead with either those oils or aloe Vera should help reduce the lining of the wrinkles

⁠⁠@@Day14317have you looked up what filler and botox are made from? Cause it doesn’t sound like it - you got them backwards. Filler is made of hyaluronic acid - which is naturally found in your body. It is not bad for you unless they botch it, but you don’t want to overdo it. Botox is literally a toxin derived from C. botulinum bacteria. If one is less natural to inject into your body - it’s Botox. Plus, after several treatments of it, Botox stops working. Filler doesn’t stop working after multiple treatments.

You can definitely make them go away with proper skincare. I started getting a very fine line in my forehead at age 23 and with a proper moisturizer twice a day (Dml Forte in the morning and Cereve pm at night layered with dml forte again), getting on a retinoid (Differin but i plan on switching to tret), and a vitamin c serum (timeless 20%), my forehead line is completely gone at age 24. Also making an effort to not be overly expressive will help your face age a lot better too. Some people basically constantly raise their eyebrows and thats pretty much guaranteed to cause wrinkles.

Eventually we all get wrinkles. I doubt moisturizer can really erase them, if they are already developed. Retinoids may help a little. 😂 Some people have expression lines when they are teenagers. Enjoying life also helps! 😊

I've stopped raising my eyebrows and that really helped with my forehead wrinkles. Now I'm getting crowfeet because I've been smiling more over the last 3 years. However it was often a sort of forced smile so I'm going to stop that and only smile when I really feel like it😊

Nothing is wrong with You, it’s a personal choice, just like if someone decides to grow their hair out to grey then they don’t like it and go back to colouring it again, it’s the same with Botox, if you don’t like the effect it gives you then just don’t get it again and your wrinkles will come back, it’s that simple…!!!! 😊

I have always had forehead lines but, as I get older they have become more prominent. However, I began using a product called Frownies and they make a huge difference. These are completely natural and the company that makes them has been around for over 100 years. You can reuse the patches so you get multiple uses from them. You have to use them nightly to get real results but it is worth it and much safer than injections!

I think facial massage and sleep position combined with consciously not raising your eyebrows are the best way to deal with forehead lines. Injecting something that's not naturally meant to be underneath your skin, seems like a terrible idea. There was a trash movie from the 70s or 80s, where people discovered a pink substance in a forest and decided to eat it and they liked the taste, some time later they started to deal with the consequences. I see some celebrities who have their faces altered from Botox use, I think it's crazy to do something like that. I'd rather look at Helen Mirren now than most of the unnatural looking women with half her age.

Same when I start getting inconsistent with sunscreen I start getting small faint lines. It scares me back to being consistent and not skipping a night of skincare! Then boom they start fading away.

Filler is often the only thing that people can do if you have really low lying eyebrows or flat eyebrows like me. Also, if you have a forehead, that’s mostly straight down like if you see curve which is the curve and your forehead starts really high up then they only have that part of the forehead to work with for anti-wrinkle injectionsbefore you get brow drops

The forehead wrinkles he is speaking of and others are not fine line wrinkles. These are deep wrinkles much like trough lines, or marionette lines. Some people have them as deep as dimples or cleft chins. I've had mine since I was a very little girl inherited from my dad. These are not age related wrinkles.

@@slickrick5596 by softening my forehead lines, it’s almost like freezing them to look smooth, plus it all depends on how much you want in that area, I get less in my forehead which gives me a slight brow lift, I still have a little movement in my forehead that it’s not frozen and it doesn’t look fake, my husband never ever notices when I’ve had my Botox, I only get it twice a year now but it keeps my face looking fresh at 63 years old, finding a good injector is key, I’ve been going to the same one for many years now and she knows my pro-ageing face and never gives me more than she thinks I require even if I ask for more Lol 😂. Ptosis only happen if the injector is incompetent. Better to prevent now or else it will be a permanent lines , it will cost you more.

@sugarcloud there is always a risk when getting anything done to your face but typically you don’t get ptosis by getting botox to ur 11s. to treat your 11s, ppl are under the assumption that botox needs to be injected between the brows where the 11s are. that isn’t that case. it gets injected to two spots over each eye brow medially

Most injectors are incompetent anf even if not.. chances are very high. Just Google what is a minimal amount, the less the better, and then once you are informed, go talk to one. Also for forehead they could try injection in V shape instead the entire forehead

@Keyos, honey, if your only 14 years young my advice to you from someone that’s been around for decades is to never leave your home without wearing Sunscreen, your still a baby and shouldn’t even be thinking about Botox or watching these types of videos, don’t grow up too fast, you’ve got a whole beautiful life ahead of you, Just slap on that Sunscreen every day regardless of the weather and that will give you good skin once you get older, Enjoy Your Youth. They’re likely expression lines, with you both being so young. I would suggest that you try a product called “frownies”. They have been around for over 130 years and they are basically pieces of paper with a natural adhesive on them and you “train” your facial muscles to flatten out. Also, just curious if you have a good skin care routine? Even a good face wash, and a moisturizer. At 45, I will tell you that if you don’t use a good , steady skin care routine, then start one. Make sure you do morning and night!!! Hopefully this helps you!

i’m sure they are lines when u raise your eyebrows or frown. that is normal. getting botox in your mid-20s prevents “static lines” which are deep lines that are visible when your face is at rest. botox prevents this from occurring

I have two long lines on the sides of my mouth they are not nasolabial folds some people call them smile lines but doctors talk about nasolabial folds....what are they called and how to get rid of them

Smile lines and nasolabial folds are the same thing, just a different name. The best way to get rid of them is to not smile or the use muscle that causes the skin to fold/wrinkle. Which is gonna be incredibly hard if your a talkative or expressive person. Unless you want to be labeled as depressed, sad, or a werido for not smiling at all. If your a introvert and dont talk much or have no friends you can do this and never have smile lines/nasolabial folds. Dont listen to anybody that is suggesting a skin care routine. That will not get rid of smile lines/nasolabial folds, it will only reduce them. If you keep smiling you will always have them. The true and only way to get rid or not have smile wrinkles is to not use the muscle, other than for eating or talking slightly. Thats why botox is a thing. The lack of muscle movement smooths out the skin causing the wrinkles to go away. Depending on how deep your wrinkles are, will determine how long it takes for your wrinkles to reverse. Majority of the time it takes 2-3 months to see a significant difference.

The fillers are highly toxic too. Face yoga and PRP are best. Most definitely not safe. They carry a black box warning, go figure
