My guess... Hatie painted the yellow one. It looks like her style. Guy painted the blue one. It looks like his style. Ant painted the brown one. This was mostly a process of elimination guess. Steve painted the green one. The basing and little pops of extra colors are what I'd expect from a Golden Demon winner. No idea if I'm right, but they all turned out great.

Guessed the same. But Brown wasn't a process of elimination for me. I relate to someone who paints tyranids, painting all the "weapons" the same color and making them pop. For Steve's I didn't even notice the base. The mandibles and mouth had way more detail than all the others without compromising anywhere else

pretty much my thought process for all of them as well. I figured the detail on the green one's mouth and the non-metallics on the tail are things only a golden demon winner would be able to confidently pull off in the time frame edit: it wasn't non-metallics, my entire base for guessing was flawed even if I guessed right lmao

I thought it was just another "showcase video" where presenters are showing the models and comments about them, but then it turned out way different with the 4 ways to paint them, thats a neat plottwist. good way to have different options for the same figure for us beginners.

I got Steve's right away. Even in the intro, the colors choices and level of detail were simply far more sophisticated. The purple shading for the green body plus the fact that he went to the trouble of painting gums on the mandibles were a dead giveaway. As for the other 3 I don't know their styles so too hard to guess.

Fabulous paint schemes by everyone, didn't get any guesses right. Did have to pause the video halfway through to start painting a Tyranid since Ant's frankly David Attenborough-tier narration got me real hyped to paint something immediately!

the give away was the details underneath the green, the orange flecks coming through. i guessed non of the other ones. i gave yours to ant, hatty's to you and ant's to hatty

The tufts of turf gave away the extra thought given to the model by an award winner. And while Steve's wasn't me favourite, I did think it was the more involved. Like appreciating an artisanal carrot cake, before burying your head in a beautiful chain pub, Mechanicus based, slab of chocolate cake!

This was an awesome video. I really loved how this video made audience interaction super enjoyable with the guessing game. You even had tutorials! Hopefully you'll do more of this type of video in future, where painters give a crack with a different style to their norm and guess whose is whose. :D

Awesome video. Loved all the different styles and ideas each creator used for their minis. Hopefully in the future this can be done but with something like a kill team or a unit. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.

I guess the green one was Steve, it has the most colour progression, it's muted but pleasing on the eye, the blue one is Guy, the yellow one Hatty and the brown one Ant... let's see if I was right 😅

Shocked by how I guessed these! - Guy and Hatty have pretty distinct styles outside of color choice, PARTICULARLY Guy's use of blue. Guy's way of highlighting blue has shown up before. - Ant being an army painter, I knew that it then had to be the neon green/brown. It was a really solid, easy to do scheme with vibrant contrast that looks great in an army. - Steve's was just a head above the rest with how grounded and detailed it was. Never seen Guy or Hatty paint like that before, as they tend to really go for the vibrant contrast, so huzzah! But apparently Steve usually paints pretty vibrant too, so I bet I wouldn't have gotten it if he went his usual route.

I think the Blue one was painted by the Holden Demon winner, because the brown and yellow show signs of less developed brush control/detailing, and it’s the most dense with details

Cool video 😊 I got them all right, you can't prove I didn't. I have seen 3 of your work before and it was a process of elimination for Art. The pieces all showcased different styles and thought processes, I feel like having so many perspectives is really good for aspiring artists to see. I never feel as confident to experiment as I do after watching MWM videos 💜

The metal one with the tufts is the one painted by the Golden Daemon winner. My reasoning? The base. I have never seen a golden Daemon entry without a fancy base, and the tufts made it the most elaborate, so that's my guess

My guess is Steve painted the green one. It's got subtle blends and fades and he's the only one of the four able to do that. Ant painted the brown one. It's so lazy, it's exactly what I would expect from a guy who has had to paint 150 gaunts. Guy painted the light blue one. Light blue and black are his colours and the colours are eye goungingly vibrant. He tends to pick overly vibrant colours because of his colour blindness. And Hatty painted the yellow one. It's got way too many highlights which are way too thick. Exactly the 'eavy metal style.

I guessed correctly on Hattie and Steve... Hattie was easy due to her color choices and Steve was due to his details. I was wrong about Ant and Guy... due to thinking that Guy went for a sneaky bluff by using Greens and Red due to his R&G color blindness but knowing the paints by name well enough to throw a curve ball with them and Ant kind of defaulting to his synthwave nid color scheme.

My guesses: - Steve painted the blue one. I think it's the one that had the most work on the base. - Hatty painted the yellow one. "She has an eye for color" was the first thing guy said when introducing her. - Guy painted the green one. I don't know why, I just feel like it's Guy's. - Ant painted the brown one. The tail really reminded me of his vibrant tyranids.

The only one I got right was Ant's because he's a Nid player and that one looked like the painter needed to paint like 59 more of them later that day. Smaller palette but vibrant and would look great in a swarm!

My guesses Blue: Guy Yellow: Hatti Brown+Green with Red Base: Ant Green with brown base: Steve Stunned. But nice work all.

I guess I was more familiar with you guys than I thought my shorthand was Hatty- it’s going to have cool colors I didn’t consider Guy-it’s going to look detailed but you can it’s dry brush sticks and some other tricks to get a solid finished model. Steve-does it look like a million tiny steps? Aren’t there tiny hand painted details like the nostrils? Ant-was process of elimination I guess.

Okay, for fun, my initial guesses: - Yellow is the golden demon. It's a hard color to work with and has excellent shading in that - Blue is Midwinter. Something about all the scale freehanding makes me think he did that - Brown is Hatty. Those greens are striking which plays into her color choice expertise, but the detail is lesser, which probably means she, being a perfectionist, started running out of time - Green is the hobbyist. Something about the spatter on his back spines seems unclean to me

I couldn't tell any of the others but I got Steve's. despite the subdued colors it was very contrasty with smooth gradients. The base also had real effort There are lessons you learn as a competitive painter.

Gonna guess blue is the golden demon, yellow is hatti's, Guy is green, ant is the brown hypergreen one.. 2/4 aint bad, I guess im a sucker for blue/purple combo.

Green one has the best details, looks like a genuinely professional painter did it - Steve Black/brown one is the "scruffiest" we'll call it, it'd have come together with more time, but it's definitely the least skilful painter's (no offense, it's still good) - Ant Due to everyone leaning towards Hatty for using brighter colours, the Orange/Yellow one is - Hatty Process of elimination along side it being very middle of the pack (out of the 4), very well painted on the whole but not quite at green levels, debatably painted by either Guy or Hatty, but since people are convinced Hatty would use the bright colours, I'd have to say - Guy But I do think Hatty's and Guy's could be swapped, they're around the same skill level and I'm only basing my guesses of theirs on the consensus, but they could easily be the other way around. Ant's and Steve's are, I think, more obvious.

When I actually think about the challenge, I think it makes sense that the one who performs best when under pressure to do the best work they can with the shortest deadline would be Guy. That must be what every video feels like.

I guessed Guy's because of the scratchy textures and Hatty's because of the white edge highlighting, I had an inkling the muted one was Steve's because of the details so that left Ant's. It was very hard though because all 4 of you did bloody incredible jobs.

Guessed Hatty and Ant correctly, got Guy and Steve the wrong way around. For a favourite, I couldn't decide between Guy's or Hatty's. Note to self: If I should ever need a vibrant colourful Tyranid army, ask Hatty for a colour scheme. 😄

I think: -the blue yellow is Steve's -the blue pink is Guy's -the brown green is Hatty's -and the green metallic is Ant's EDIT: A million miles off! Ha! This was good fun, great job guys!

I think steve painted the yellow one, thats mostly just based on what Ive heard is the kind of style that golden demon wants to look for I'm guessing Hattie for the blue, seems like her style with the brighter colors and the texture Guy I'm guessing for brown, it seems like its got a lot of the techniques he likes and the kind of color composition with clear focal points Which leaves ant for green by process of elimination because i dont know his style at all

To be honest lets just create an own painting award or competition. I bet if all big painting influencers work together then this thing will be better with more recognition. And you can even be - really - creative and dont have to fear the committee because of the third party parts rule or using too mich green stuff smh
