Sorry, guys I play piano accordion not very good (I am button accordion player) so do not judge strictly. It's really interesting for me: can you hear the difference between cheap and expensive piano accordions?

My 2 favorite sounding ones where the $200 one, and the $3,000 one. Since the $200 one is $2,800 cheaper, that is what I would get.

I have played accordion since I was 6 and a half and yes since over 55 years have gone by I can tell the difference of a higer end accordion. However, having said that the others would be fine for someone just learning or wanting to have some fun with a crowd. It is a very interensting instrument and I am so glad my dad gave me the chance to have learned how to play!

To tell the truth, I liked all of them. It's hard to really compare low end versus high end accordions, Especially when some are new, and some are old. The preferred sound changed over the years, and everyone has different tastes in what they should sound like, anyway. And, that's how it should be. Different strokes for different folks! Great video!

I don’t know why but the $200 one especially sounds the most enjoyable to me. It feels more like what you’d hear just walking down the street in some European city at night

@@gnomechompski7984 I really can't argue with that. Mine only cost me $147.50, and I prefer it's sound over most of the newer ones I've heard. Old don't mean busted!

I've just seen your video and listened to it in my studio with the Universal Audio Apollo Twin X USB Duo Heritage Edition combined with the ADAM Audio T7V's Active Studio Monitors + the ADAM Audio T10S Subwoofer and from my experience it sounds great, and you can hear the difference between every accordion. At the middle of the video I wanted to ask you to make a video recording with the Cooperativa Stradella so I can compare it to some of the samples that Marian Mexicanu' recorded a few years ago in my studio. Great work by the way ! You are very talented ! Keep it up and you too can become an accordion master one day ! I wish you all the best !

Ciao Sergii ascoltare solo non dà idea degli strumenti solo chi suona può stabilire la bontà dello strumento. Da come bisogna forzare il mantice ,dalla sensibilità delle voci al pianissimo e al fortissimo , dalla sensibilità della tastiera, dal gusto del suonatore alla corposità o dalla risposta acuta delle ance. Grazie comunque per questi simpatici video che stimolano interesse in questo nostro meraviglioso strumento e complimenti x le tue eccellenti esecuzioni. Un fraterno abbraccio virtuale ...... Un modesto appassionato suonatore di fisarmonica.

The $200.00 model has a nice French mustette quality. Cajun and zydeco players love that sound. I’d buy that squeezebox in a heartbeat! The others , not so much. Thanks for posting

Die einfachen Instrumente haben teilweise sehr scharfes Tremolo, mir gefällt die Weltmeister Serino de luxe am besten, schöner voluminöser sonorer Klang! Für mich der typische Akkordeonsound!🙋‍♂️

Would recommend listening with headphones on to tell the difference better 😊 Personally : Aelita sounded beautiful lots of soul to it Settimio sounded ok/lovely and the unknown brand same thing Hated the Welteister Ramona and Stradella My absolute favourite was Weltmeister Serrino De Luxe so wonderful 😍 Anything above that was lovely as well but kinda bland sorry 😅 The digital one is just strange in my opinion 🤔

Для меня Weltmeister всегда был эталоном аккордеонного звука. Так оказалось и в этот раз, причём чем дороже инструмент, тем интереснее звук. Но и Роланд очень приятно удивил

O estilo musical é importante. No Sul do Brasil, por exemplo, os acordeons com som mais agudos, mais estridentes, são preferidos. Já no norte, os músicos preferem acordeons com dupla-ressonância, mais aveludados.

Pianiste, je suis amené à jouer parfois à l'accordéon touches piano (je le sort pour des plans "jazz musette"). J'ai un Thomann touches piano entrée de gamme (probablement fait en Chine) acheté d'occasion. C'est utilisable mais bon j'ai parfois joué sur des bons accordéons : c'est le jour et la nuit. Je l'utilise surtout pour l'aspect "visuel".

and this song was made for a small and simple accordion like a concertina so it stands to reason that the best timbre will be the timbre of a simpler accordion. That's why I say you can't compare a simple accordion with a big repair accordion

i listened witn my hi-fi hi end headphone and good AMP. anyway i feel diffference with 2000 usd somewhere in the midle of line.. but Roland at the end was totally different than all others. tonality and sharpness was so accurate so different i liked it most :D

I think what I noticed was the smoother sound as the quality increased. Not as much (if you will) tiny chatter. But I really saw nothing wrong w any of them.

Not a fan of German accordions. I own several Italian instruments with various reed combinations. I also own a Roland which I love. This video did not show the great versatility of the Roland which uses sampled sounds from many, many instruments. If I could have only one, it would be the Roland. Thank you very much, the performance was great and I know that this took a lot of effort.

There’s a detectable difference in each one. They ALL sound good; the S4 Weltmeister has the purest sound of all. But several of the others have a vibrato that is adorable! Thanks fir sharing this demonstration!!!

The old Weltmeister Supita from GDR is an amazing instrument! But for me, the best Piano accordion will always be Guerrini Superior 2 President from 79-83! Or Settimio Soprani/Scandalli Artist VI/Super VI from the 50's!

Each accordion has its own distictive sound, I can hear some improvement as you advance from cheaper to more expensive, there is definitely some improvement. The last one though, it sounds rather artificial, I do not personally like that sound. All the Weltmeisters sound gorgeous. Aquick question: What's that melody called? I heard it in Ameli, that movie with Audrey Tautou in it.

I think the last one (Roland) was a sample? It has MIDI, and it sounded like it had some reverb in the sound.

So true even among the same models. I have 3 Hohner Corona III’s that sound quite different, they have their own unique personalities. I must say my old german one is superior compared to my newer german one and my chinese one.

It depends a lot on the combination of registers that is made in the accordion, for example if I use a Balkan accordion with the Musette register it is one thing if I use the same accordion with the violin register it is totally different so it is not possible to compare like you did.

The Roland is electronic and can offer the sounds of different accordion types. Also a smaller accordion with more bass knobs as usual. Also less weight.

I think that to find differences the prices increase very quick. It's the same between pianos from €3000 to €150.000. I think also that hear with a smartphone and in direct is not the same thing. 🎹

Взагалі, то найбільше сподобалось як звучить Stradella. Але чомусь мені здається, що якби Ви грали рашпілем на іржавих ночвах, то і вони б зазвучали не менш захопливо, ніж клавішний акордеон. Жартую, звісно. Дякую за чудове виконання, і клавішний, про який я раніше запитував в своєму коментарі.

Может не по теме. Подскажите пожалуйста . Выбираю аккордеон для ребёнка есть два weltmeister serino 3/4 и weltmeister seperato 3/4, оба в хорошем состоянии, разница в цене не большая. Какой выбрать ?

I don't think it's a very fair comparison... the registers you're using are different for each accordion! Besides, it's notoriously difficult to tell the difference between such instruments if you're not playing them or listening from very close, and especially if you're listening from phone speakers

yes i can clearly hear difference between the cheap ones and the higher priced ones although some sounding more similar than others, personally I would not go lower in terms of sound quality than than weltsmeister Ramona as clealy the sound was more dynamic and fuller compared to the previous ones.

Действительно, каждый следующий звучит чуть-чуть лучше предыдущего. Это так интересно!) Мне начало нравиться с красненькой Рамоны за 650. И дальше по возрастающей. Но, конечно, Роланд- это венец! Супер-машина. Нравится мне больше всех.)

I think I would prefer Weltmeister S4. However I like all the accordions except the digital one because that is not a real accordion. The more expensive ones just have more registers and this make price higher.

definitely the Roland does not sound like an accordion, but it is something else. You can like it or not, but it has little to do with accordions. the sound most consistent with the accordion is that of the . Except for Roland all the others are pleasant to listen to.

Φοβάμαι ότι δυσκολεύομαι να διακρίνω ποιο είναι καλύτερο. Πάντως έχω και εγώ ακορντεόν με πλήκτρα ιταλικό φιλτισένιο, μάρκας Crucianelli, αγορασμένο το 1967 και πολύ θα ήθελα επίσης να μάθω πόσο αξίζει σήμερα, αν και δεν σκοπεύω να το πουλήσω.

Witam. - akordeony do 750 - klawisze dźwięk organkowy. Instrument za 3000 i 4500 znacznie głębszy bas, a klawisze - dźwięk bardziej organowy. Za 4000 klawisze dźwięk gorszy niż za 3000, ale podobnie dobrze brzmiący bas. Instrument za 6000 - klawisze przypominają dźwięk keyboarda - jest super, a bas jest bardziej łagodny. - Zatem modele za 3000, za 4500 i za 6000 są porównywalne i godne uwagi. More expensive instruments here have more mechanical registers, which may change and enrich the sound. But on this video musician played simple melody using most simple register on all models. That is why they sound almost same.
