This a little glide style bait I designed a few years back for 3d printing, but 3d printing takes for ever so I made a silicone mold so i could use polyurethane resin to cast the lure bodies which takes less than twenty minutes to cure. I added a couple of rattles to give it a bit noise and decided to through wire the whole thing for a little more safety using a jig I designed and printed and pair of very blunt wire cutters.

Lure mold made from rtv silcione www.mbfg.co.uk/gp-3481-f.html
weight mold made from heat resistant rtv silicon www.mbfg.co.uk/ht-3120_silico...
wire jig designed and printed as above
weight cast in lead free pewter
through wire .8mm s/steel wire
rattles from amazon
airbrushed with acrylic ink and top coated with auto clear coat
eyes from amazon

Круто! Но самое смешное, что реалистичные детали, глаза и покраска нужны для приманивания... покупателя😂 Потому что для рыбы важнее всего игра приманки, а не внешний вид. Но всё равно здорово, что вы поделились процессом изготовления 👍

I tye my own lures @ home on a fly tying vice. It more satisfying catching a fish on my lure than a store bought 1. Mine costs about 0.14 cents VS $6.99+ It doesn't hurt as much when I lose them either.

Gotcha. I build striper plugs. All of my baits are through wired with belly swivels. All of the plastics I fish, I add belly swivels. I do a split ring to a swivel to a cut hook. Also, even though I have to sell my plugs with 2 hooks, everything I fish has only 1 belly hook and the barbs are crushed. Fish lose all the leverage against you with a swivel and 1 hook. Nice looking bait btw! I’m talented but not that much.
