Is it possible to traverse the land of Morrowind while multiple Dagoth Ur's chase after you? That's what we're going to find out! Or me. I'll be finding it out, alone as always. I'm great fun to be around I swear.

Im not surprised it didn't crash. Morrowind never crashes when you're doing weird stuff you probably shouldn't. It only crashes during normal gameplay.

Morrowind won’t crash when you use tarheel’s scrolls to jump across the entire map at supersonic speed, moving faster than the game can load. But it’ll crash if you drop an ebony staff.

I mean... Realistically that's what would have happened. The cliff racers were almost certainly keeping Pest populations in check. Probably a lot of hungry farmers when the Cliff Racers weren't around to eat the Locusts

@@Iamafishproductions Maybe the MC character always focused on combat quests before and now he gains experience by doing the quests that were just helping out people with things in town in order to gain just a little bit of xp.

@@NotTheWheel I can imagine it. And then, much like with Morrowind, you can't technically kill the boss without completing the main quest line. So they have to figure out how to glitch out or speedrun certain areas to avoid the required combat encounters, in the process maybe grinding to absurdly high levels in crafting skills. My first comment was referring to how a lot of anime that start with an interesting premise like that quickly derail to focus on something else entirely, either for budget reasons or because they didn't have many ideas beyond the initial premise and a few scenes.

I mean, putting aside how crazy Dagoth Ur is, this is...actually his end-goal, really. Like, this is his plan FOR Morrowind, to have every Dunmer (at least the worthy ones) get Corprus, then gain more and more power as their bodies are transformed by the Heart of Lorkhan.

So this is how beings with CHIM duel... Dagoth Ur infinitely spawns himself while the Nerevarine persists in reaching a certain place and rewinding time if he fails. It's a battle of will- whoever gets fed up first loses. This one was surprisingly educational!

Try a passive run. You refrain from intentionally killing anyone. Use hand to hand or drain strength to immobolize them/loot them. If they passout in water and drown, or get killed by something else, thats fine. Frenzy would be an option but summoning is not. See how far you get through a given quest line. Do the Morag Tong for hard mode.

There are a lot of interesting ways to do this, I'd imagine. Paralyze/Drain Fatigue in Water Levitate on target for 1sec to kill flyers Burden to root NPCs Etc.

I’m a bit rusty on my Morrowind lore, but isn’t this pretty much what Dagoth-Ur intends to do? Like, he’s like reached peak insight of the nature of existence and as such he’s slowly starting to affect and warp reality around him? The anti-chim or whatever?

Yeah, essentially the power from the Heart of Lorkhan made him into the 'Sharmat' or False Dreamer. Instead of realising hes part of a dream from an uncaring Godhead and either zero-summing or achieving Chim, his madness leads him to an opposite conclusion. That all of reality is him, hes the Godhead who is currently dreaming the universe and thus everything is a part of him. His end goal being to remake the whole world as he pleases, using the power of the Numidium and at some end-point mantling the godhead.

This year is the 20th anniversary of Morrowind, but Bethesda is too busy releasing more Skyrim updates to remake or at least remaster Morrowind.
