I opened two mega boxes.. both had pretty good QC. Each box had both an auto and color. Matt brash debut refractor, kevin smith auto, mackenzie gore auto, and a pilkington gold lol... i did get a well centered purple julo as well.

Loved the rip and congrats on the monster! You mentioned either sending in to Topps for replacement or putting them in complete sets. Topps told me that it will be at least 8 months to replace my true blue Julio from update. So idk if that helps your decision or not lol

Congrats on the huge rookie gold. Insane one there. I’ve found QC on the hobby just as awful as retail. Just one of those products. I suppose it will keep the pop count under control on the good ones because I’m sure you’re right that they produced a bunch of this.

I was like screaming my head off when that Bobby Auto hit like it was my own. Great Case Break my man. This product usually leaves me mad when I open it but after watching this case break I think I may have to try again and exhibit a bit more patience, beginning to see the potential now. Hopefully they redeem soon. I submitted a gold Oneil Cruz auto from this product a couple of months ago and currently waiting on Topps. Gotta figure they'll do it at some point since a sticker auto. Here's hoping for very soon!

Congrats on that redemption! I’m trying this same exercise two times over. Ripped one case and am prepping my PSA order now. Ordered a second case with a $280 MVP buyback discount. One word of caution: the Generation Now cards aren’t in high demand. I gemmed up a Bobby chrome GN card, and it sold for only $21.50 through a big consignor with lots of eyeballs on it. The Julio probably would be worth trying, but I’d tread lightly with anyone else.

Well, good luck getting your Bobby back from TOPPS. I pulled a Mike Trout redemption parallel and they’re trying to make me pick a sub. Their team will pick according g to eBay and “Beckett” prices for something similar…. Wrote them and said give me my card I pulled.

Fun rip! I've been thinking that this set keeps dropping it might be worth buying a case to open now?? You got a few good cards for sure but are other cases as good or better?? 2022 Heritage High Number is a very good value right now as well.

Stryker, how do you decide which cards to grade. Do u look at what current PSA values are and decide? I’m guessing grading fees are $18 per card, so value increase must be at least that amount to make it worth it…right?

I think 2022 chrome update will be extremely collectible in high grade in a decade as it will have natural rarity like pre-1980 cards die to QC. PSA 10's will be a rarity.
