Watch this celebrity chef return to her roots in Pai in Northern Thailland to cook Thai Food from scratch. Khao Soi and other Thai recipes are prepared on a farm in this magical place.
This is the story of Jeff and Nui, who left Pai to chase dreams in Toronto. Their story is incredible as they now own and cook at Canada's biggest Thai Restaurant and Chef Nui has become a celebrity Chef in Canada.
But this video is about their return to Pai where they have a new dream.

@burtbakeract1110 - Be careful! When you do go to Thailand, you never want to go back home because you feel like Thailand is your home. The people are the main reason why you want to stay. If you do go home, all you think about is going back to Thailand. You become obsessed with the idea of going back.

Dude I’m tearing up 🥲. I was born in Bangkok, I’ve been in the U.S. since 1995 when I was 10 years old. I’ve never been back home. I wanna go home. I love these one off episodes you do when you focus on the story of the people. Don’t do it all the time because we still wanna see our favorite Canadian!!!!

In Thailand, there used to be a movie called " Pai In Love " released in 2009. The beautiful story in this video reminds me a lot of this movie. This must be the real "Pai In Love".🥲🇹🇭

Hey Chris, another quality clip as usual. This one is more like a documentary about life and love of a very nice couple, living far away from a big city. It gives somethings to think about, living a slow and peaceful life, and be happy doing what you like to do, and be close to people that you love. Thank You and please continue to do more.

oh Chris, thank you for making this video. I went to eat at this restaurant but did not know the history. I'm a Toronto resident. I'm proud of my Thainess. My husband is 50 years old. He plans to retire before next year. We will go back and buy a house there... and will stay there ❤️

I first met my husband in Pai too..Both of us are Thai....It was my first and only visit...never attempt to go again due to too many turns and dizzy road trip....considering a second visit....

Hey Chris, Jeff and Chef Nuit have been behind my favourite Thai restaurants in Toronto since 2011, if memory serves. My wife and I frequented Khao San Road in the early days, when Jeff was front of house. I was such a regular Jeff knew me by appearance anyways back then. It was the only place at the time where we could enjoy the flavours we experienced on our Thai honeymoon in Toronto. So now we are headed to Thailand for a stretch starting in October. Spending 75 days in Thailand this time with my wife and our two kids. Love the videos, so please keep them coming. You’ve helped inspire one family to return.

Wow- Jeff & Nui’s restaurant in Toronto is mentioned in the MICHELIN Guide. -Very successful indeed. Great story along with the filming & editing. I would like to see more rural stories like this in the future ( not just city life in Bangkok or a “farang” beach resort which repetitiveness becomes boring.
