Pablo Guinazu is a baller. Had him as a random squad filler player - my main midfielder got injured and he came in for 5 games and done bits. Couldn’t tell he was 40+, got him on a 2 year deal and he was fine for 2 years. Fit as a fiddle, decent pace for a midfielder and had good attributes

Ye FNG, you have to sign Buffon in your first season but when he’s contract is running out and then he arrives the start of the next season, which he then retires at the end but if you’re playing as a league 2, 1 or championship team he really helps out

it's probably something to do with Multiples of the transfer value why you can't sell a player for £1 - £1 is literally an infinite multiple of the transfer fee so they look at it as though you tried to sell a £1 player for £1000000000000000000000000 or something. You could probably try selling an actually decent player for £1 though? I bet that would work.

You can actually. When renegotiating a contract with a player who wants a release clause, you can put it down to one pound. I did that in my Milan career. Put £1 release clauses on all my youth players and signed them all at my new club Man U for a combined total of £13 😂
