As a teen I worked on a tobacco farm. Hell yeah you can smoke that leaf. If you have one that's got little red spots on it it'll have a bit more flavor. The browns(cigar) leafs were "bottoms" , a rarer part of the plant compared to what's used for a cigarette.

When I was 22 I worked as a chef at a restaurant with a cigar bar. My shift was over so I bought a Moonglow for $25. Went home and sat on the porch with a glass of brandy. I'm 56 now and don't know if they still make Moonglows but I still love a good cigar. 👍

update: they smell very sweet, but as a wrapper, i didn't like it very much, it doesn't seem cured long maybe? BUT (!) keep them , i have them in some of my cigarillos, wrapped, and it gives them a nice nice smell combo/taste. they also work in emergency if your cigar is out of box and you take long to start-smoke it the leaf will provide humidity and dry up and preserve the cigarillos. I accidently once left it out for 3 days and the thing was so brittle and exploded to the touch but kept the cigar nice/protected

@@CigarsDailyI could not agree more! I fell in love with the Punch Gran Puro Santa Rita when I lived in San Diego. I always had 2-3 with me every time I went fishing with my friends. At one point, a little over 20 years ago, they got really hard to find for some reason. So, when my daughter was born, I popped on a box of Padron 3000s & loved those too. But my all time favorite (can't really count the Havana Partigas i got when I was in Panama) I'm split between the Padron 1964 Torpedo & the padron 1926 No 9! I had one of each for my 40th birthday a few years back.

I have rolled the single leaf container wrapper off the cigar before. Yes it is quite full, full. But it is an interesting packing idea that I find quite enjoyable. I think it’s actually meant to be rolled up and smoked first before smoking the actual cigar. It’s a practice that cigar blenders do, to make sure the tobacco they are using for the blend, not only burns how they want, but tastes how they want. Gives you the consumer the opportunity to take part in that tradition. You taste the tobacco leaf by itself, then smoke the cigar, to give you an idea of how one tobacco leaf from the blend tastes, then when you smoke the whole blend, you can taste how that one tobacco leaf is integrated in the blend to make the cigar taste how you expect.

@michaelneal89828 ай бұрын
The reason he does it. He was sick of selling cigars to people just to break open and roll blunts. He thought about it and added the leafs to keep it fresh and it’s also a blunt wrap. This was when they were cheaper when he first came out. The leaf became a signature so even when the price went up he kept it.
