I reckon an immersive way to get voice lines for the Mejai to play back would be to disguise it as a 'voice calibration' when you first start playing the game. Something like "Say: 'Hello?'" or "Say: HELP!". Chances are, by the time you meet a Mejai that speaks, you would have entirely forgotten that you set that up and be so scared. It would also work really well in Multiplayer, as the phrases will somewhat make sense instead of just being random grabs from random conversations. Devs could also potentially use the pre-existing voice recognition system to make sure that people aren't abusing it, and are roughly saying the expected phrase; but only if they think it's a major concern, and want to prioritise immersion over fun.

One day they're going to casually add fall damage to this game just to troll these three 😂

Glad Psycho survived 1:26:14 The reason why you guys get killed are because of CJ torch is burned so Necreph will kill everyone near the torch.. 1:29:57 Yes, New Ouphris can block the signal on smartwatch and he can talk from it.. 1:31:00 No need to run from Ouphris whistle, your teammate may die or Heka Amulet chanting could be ended before preventing his attack based on the distance.. 1:31:16 Everytime you guys use the Heka to prevent Ouphris from attacking he will splatter blood and then crack your Heka Amulet.. You still can use Heka Amulet if it's just crack, but if it's "Broken" you can't use it anymore.. Anyway, please play with New Talgor, it seems like you guys forget to play with him.. There's also some changes to his ability and weakness.. I'm glad Insym, Psycho and CJ have a great time playing Forewarned together ❤

I was just playing today, against Ouphris, and he DID use a voice clip against me. I was playing solo so it was very freaky to suddenly hear another voice call out. For a split second I thought my headphones were picking up a neighbor. And the clip it chose was weird because I do not remember saying what it said during that match.

Just an FYI, you can drop a bunch of stuff right when you get into the tomb (metal detector, seismic detector, etc). Chances are they'll go off on the floor so you can hear them, and you can keep your inventory space for urns

49:19 I had an idea a long time ago for a Doppelgänger ghost that does this, plus has a rare multiplayer-only ghost event in which it transforms into one of the players and despawns when it's no longer within sight of any player. As the Doppelgänger is an emissary of death, if it does this rare ghost event, during the next hunt, it'll behave like a Deogen, aiming for the one player, becoming faster and faster as the hunt progresses in such a way that it's guaranteed to kill that one player for ignoring its warning. If smudged at any point (whether before or during the hunt) or if the target player is outside the investigation area when it hunts, it'll lose its target, and it'll have to wait until it does that rare ghost event again. I'm assuming in single player, it'll imitate the player's voice via ParaMic or Spirit Box.

This game has an amazing concept and is fun, Insym never fails to make me laugh, and the terrible trio.

me and my friends were playing this, and both times we got rathos he followed us into the puzzle room, couldn't even do the puzzle without someone trying to keep him occupied while someone else worked on the puzzle, and the first puzzle was the laser puzzle!

idea: with necraph in a tomb that has light, the lights either dim or go out. Because if the blue light is in a lit area or the way to the exit/exorsism is lit up, the game would be close to impossible to win.

Isn't Ouphris way too op? I mean, i don't see real counterplay, just to don't do the exorcism or have a lucky blue lever. I think they should add some kind of weakness to him, such as him holding random items in his hand and if you mimic his item he don't target you. But if any of your teammates doesn't hold that item, he will be his target.

I think forewarned has potential and already has some very cool stuff, but something that's ALWAYS bothered me is how your main character has "health" and takes physical damage from traps in the level. Yet, the ghosts bypasses this health mechanic and instantly kill you. Then what's the point of keeping your health up by healing? It also makes the game very punishing and unforgiving. Let's say you're getting chased by the ghost, you mess up, fail to understand its mechanic and boom, you're dead in a single attack. INSTEAD, if it attacked you, dealt health damage and gave you a chance to run away, you'd have to try and frantically heal & adapt, and I think it would make for better action. Currently the investigation part of the mission takes a super long time and you can lose all that in a single attack from the ghost which is a little lame imo

The gameplay of this game is great I just hope they change the UI and graphics soon, cause it's the worst lol the menus looks horrible the textures looks like plastic the game in general is weird and ugly took me a while to even want to try it because of how it looks, but gameplay is very fun the loop is awesome the menus just put me off so much
