Can you surf in asia? Well today I'm going to answer that very simple question on if it is possible for you to surf in asia, specifically surfing in Vietnam. I will be covering everything from the costs, where to surf, how to get lessons, and spots for you to surf here in Vietnam. Lets go to asia!
A few weeks ago I decided that it was time for a much needed break from the city. I packed up my bags and headed down to Mui Ne a costal surf town here in Vietnam. My intentions were to surf every single day and thats exactly what I did. So come along the journey and learn how you can surf here in Mui Ne, Vietnam.

I surfed here for years before they made the jetty even. Beyond the pylons in front of the wall is called buddha bowls and its for experts at low tide. It produces some of the best barrels in vietnam when on.

Going back to nam again in November just to take a dip in a secret spot for a week. Vietnam surf surprised me. How much did you guys boards cost? Hint... go a little north. It's great for shortboarding. Love the beach break. 💯🏄♂️

Thanks for this insightful video, Tony! We'll be in Vietnam around Thanksgiving and hoping to catch some waves there. Do you think it'll be a good idea to check out Mui Ne? Please let me know if you have any tips about where to stay and rent boards!

Tom!! I mentioned the surf school name where they can pick you up, rent boards, or even rent motorbikes with a board rack. Oct should be good for waves - fall to early spring is the season in Mui ne. I would check it out! Plenty of resorts there as well dude. Things to do outside of that - dune bugging - white sand dunes - red sand dunes - the beaches (though not the nicest in terms of blue tropical) - fairy streams - bbq seafood at mr.crab Pretty much all to do there!

yes loads my man. Places to surf - Phan Rang - Mui Ne - Da nang - Vung tau - theres a secret point too that has long left waves that are ridable for minutes! hard to find but i have friends who have been!

Theres a few spots in vietnam, one rlly good wave thats harder to get to quy nhon but it has a really good left wave for surfers to ride for a long time, i saw a video and people had a solid 1-2 minutes on the wave! I think mui ne longest ive rode a wave is maybe like 45sec as the beach is really small !

buhhda beach in mui ne :) Very close shore break, good long waves on a good day Only thing is it can be busy

@@Justhavefuns it’s super warm here brother! I just bought a shirt only long sleeve wet suit for windy days but overall quite warm with just a rash guard. You can rent boards from Mui ne local surf school! Mostly long boards, a few foamys, and I think 1 or 2 Malibu 7 footer range!

They did but it’s very basic topics. So I don’t know topics outside of home talk like politics, music, how they build surfboards etc are topics that I often don’t know words for!
