Initially it appeared as if Mr Daulat actually did something wrong but towards the end Madhu really pushed him hard and that proved his point.

maybe a journalist and intelligence officer don't value #information in the same way .. one may see publishing info that increases #cost of changing #policy , the other may see it as dissemination it in order to increase #trust quotient by #publishing opinion so as to have #deniability and align oneself in a new/old friends corner ...

Thanks for these interviews but please introduce the cast of characters you are discussing. At 30:00 the interviewer is putting words in the poor guy's mouth, creating unnecessary confusion where there is none. He did not say anything too crazy about Mullah Zaeef. He did not expose the chap. He is putting forth common-sense theories that the Taliban who have power over Zaeef's life would have explored themselves. So to say that he has "exposed Zaeef" is ridiculous.

Is he really a RA&W chief ? After seeing his interview he is more like hurriyat leader than anything else. when he cant do tit for tat then he is in a wrong profession. He is surprised on RA&W active, it shows Man was Unfit for the JOB!

Booster Sir is it R&AW or RA&W? Please don't take offence. I am not using a pseudonym and am born 'n living in Kashmir : AND I am ancient by virtue of being a servant of goodness (which means I am not bound by whatever gets thrust on me by way of birth). I suggest please respect this person (Mr Dulat) and the lady (Ms Trehan) : I don't know either of them but I know there is no God if humans are not respected. Ah, if you want to know why I got God in this : existence God of compassion is the only thing that is a gift that we can get. So I really respect you, though I might never meet you.

Madhu you make it sound a bit pedantic with your repeated questioning of him putting the information out. Firstly, he's not a journalist by profession to uphold the journos' code of conduct. Secondly like he says, there will be other intelligence agencies who will know more and in precise. You seem to be thinking that the R&AW is the best intel agency in the world while it is far from the truth. You end up making it sound like he's revealed information that he's just received over the phone.

I thought Ms. Madhu would be positive to the policy of not counter-killings by RAW and Art-370. Surprised that she was asking to go for abolishing 370 and counter-killings by Indian intelligence. Or may be she is pretending for the sake off extracting info from Dulat. He turned out too smart for her...

arav kris Look its doesn't matter what rest of us want when it comes to solving Kashmir Dispute. Its the choice between what is right and wrong. Considering the ground situation and expert opinion abolishing Art 370 wont help India or Kashmir either. See the Interlocutor report on Kashmir by Dilip Padgaonkar

arav kris Every state has some degree of aversion to outsiders. Take any state in India, they resist influx of migrants to protect their culture and independence. That doesn't make them anti-national. As rightly pointed by Mr. Dulat, problems is not these articles or Pak. Problem is we don't trust our people. If we seriously start trusting them, most of the problems will vanish.... Hope you are convinced..
