Can You Tell A Difference In Diamond Color??? (Color F vs Color H)

I wanted to show a color F diamond compared to a color H to help show the differences between the two. The color F diamond is lab diamond I purchased from James Allen for $2100 and the Color H diamond is a natural diamond I purchased from James Allen for $7300.
What do you think of the two diamonds? Can you tell a big difference in color? I would love to hear your opinion in the comments below. Personally I think you can tell a small difference when both diamonds are side by side, but it's not significant enough to justify spending extra money. When the rings are apart it's very hard to tell an immediate difference between the two. I say sure a better color grade is better, but I wouldn't turn down an H diamond if I was able to save hundreds of dollars in the process.

They are BOTH just gorgeous! I think the highest cut a person can afford is actually more important than the color. I just love the fire and sparkle of a perfectly cut diamond whether it's a natural grown diamond or a lab grown diamond. Thank you for taking the time to compare these. :)

I could tell immediately. And I just stumbled on this video thanks to KZfaq algorithm. I know nothing about diamonds but yeah, once you told about one being “warmer”, I could tell at once. For what I just looked up online yes, I’d pay for the difference as it is immediately noticeable to me.

I personally love diamonds with rainbow color’s, I understand why some people prefer clarity.

I’d always go for F color. However, this is a nice H. I think if the stone is being set in a yellow gold, then it makes sense to get the H color diamond, as that yellow gold will be slightly reflected through the diamond anyway, and it will then have a slightly warmer tone. But, for platinum diamond settings or white gold, I say go for colorless! Both rings are very pretty! I could tell the colorless was ring A, especially in the indoor lighting and direct sunlight. It was harder to tell the color difference when outside.

I am so proud that I guessed it right when it was outdoors you can tell very very faint hue but indoors no difference at all, can you please make a video comparing H and K colors.

You also could've added the details of their carat, clarity and cut details, so we understand how a "x" carat diamond looks like. Ring B looks slightly warmer to me, which is because they're side-by-side, and also on a white metal. If you made diamond rings with gold, like how we do it traditionally in India, even warmer diamonds would looks extremely beautiful. That's why I go with carat, cut and clarity rather than color, for gold.

oval F VS1 1.5… vs. H VS2 1.7 .. so lost white gold ring maybe the H will be noticeable ??

I could slightly tell the right was the H diamond I just bought an H diamond lab grown vs1 from Ritani. Hopefully it’s not too yellow.

Yeah I can tell straight away, as with the other videos Ive seen. As nice as the H is still, for what I want in the engagement ring and with me being a perfectionist, I've got for an F colour, Excellent+ cut, also gone for an ever so slightly bigger than typical diamond in a 1.56 which I feel makes the colour more important also in a white gold setting and its VVS2 with the two tiny imperfections clear from the table and virtually impossible to see even when trying to find them up close.

I have a question, if I were to get a ring that’s an H color and lower grade like i2/i3 would it still look bad cause the quality of the cut?

I don’t suggest you go any lower in grade than SI2. The eye-clean clarity will also be based on where the inclusions are located within that stone and what type of inclusions the diamond has.
