Beautiful page and I know the Lord is hearing your prayers. My husband went through the same condition 6 months ago and I know the seriousness of sepsis. Praying for your family daily.

I bought grey graphite carbon paper and use traced patterns with the graphite to transfer the image. It takes extra time but I get good transfers , better than when I try to see through the Bible page , if that makes sense🤔😊

God WILL provide. My husband lost his job and our insurance. Then his ex-employer fought against unemployment pay. Then during this my husband had a severe trauma. All the while I’m disabled and can’t work. Still fighting for benefits myself. My husband was laid up for nearly two years. For nearly one year we had ZERO INCOME. NONE. ZIP. ZILCH. I was very afraid we’d lose everything. But we didn’t. God provides for the faithful who believe. I held onto God’s word. I let people know what we needed. My mom started a gofundme Page. We never lost anything. Not one utility was cut off ever. It was not easy. Still is not easy. But I held onto God’s word. Jammed out to Zach Williams in praise and worship. As a need came up God did provide. Sometimes at the last minute but He always came through for us. Always. My husband had five surgeries and during all of it I totaled my new car. It should have been totaled out by insurance company. Nope, God had them fix my car too. God is so very good. PRAISE THE LORD OUR GOD! You and your family are in my prayers. Do not give up. Do not give in. The devil trials many. Remain faithful. Especially when you feel it getting hard. Just give him glory and praise. It works. God bless!

Oh Lindsey....wish I could give you a hug, but at least please know that I am so glad I saw this video. It's great, but the main thing is I want you to know that I am praying for your husband and your entire family. Praying that God will touch his body from the tip of his head to the tip of his toes with His healing power. May He get all the glory. Beautiful page. Praying daily for your husband (& you during this time) every day. It takes a bit to shake infections like this, but praying for his labs to continue to improve and the antibiotics to work more effectively. As a nurse, I’m very familiar with how serious sepsis is (I have a roll in education for our hospital staff). So glad he went to the ED to be checked earlier this week.

You have blessed others in your own time of need. Smile, even though it's hard. I'm sorry to hear about your husband's health. My late Father was in the hospital a few years ago dealing with that and was able to come home a few weeks later (other health issues too). Prayer definitely works! The hospital initially told us he wasn't going to make it. Our GOD had the last say so! I will be praying for you guys! And thanks for the scripture(s) reference in your video. I need to read more scriptures about being anxious during hard circumstances. Be Blessed!

I just use a large pyrex baking pan (glass) and my desk lamp on the floor. If your baking dish is large 12x18 you could have room to rest the book on and trace. Prayers for your family and healing of your husband!!

Thank you for taking time out to create and share this page. I wonder if an iPad (or any tablet) turned on to a higher brightness would help with the tracing. While light pads are pretty cool, they aren't really necessary unless you use them often (says the person who got one three years ago and only used it twice). Facing the unknown can be scary, especially when it comes to health. You and your family will be in my thoughts. Sending good and healing vibes your way.

An iPad can be used but I’ve found it difficult because the screen wants to change when you touch it or apply pressure.

Yes, I’ve tried a few of those but haven’t had the best of luck. I’d also rather use a cheaper light box than my $1000 iPad for something like that 😂 But you could try it!

i am praying for your husband. my father passed away from sepsis but he was much older, 79. sepsis is not usually something dr's test for which is a shame because it is a simple blood test. blessings to you and your family

So sorry to hear about your father! Sepsis is so scary! His cousin died of it last year so we know how quickly it can go form ok to bad

Please try not to worry too much about the sepsis. I have had sepsis from being treated with anabiotic's and unfortunately it takes even stronger anabiotic's to make it go away and it is very hard on your system to fight it however if you and your husband are patient you will get through it and he will be fine. For me the worst part was getting through it because it is so painful and it does keep you in the hospital and there should be complications it's just a batter of time. I strongly suggest using high-quality probiotic once this is all over to reestablish healthy bacteria in his system. I hope it's OK to give medical advice but I do feel for you and your husband and your boys. I so much appreciate all the painstaking time you take to teach us how to be more affective bible journal worse and now it's time for us to give back to you!

Lovely page. Lindsey! I was wondering if you are still going to do pages in your old 2" margin bibles? Some of us cannot afford the Illustrated Bible and actually, the more I hear about it and see it, the less envious I am for those that can afford it. Also, I have added your family to my prayer list.

I will try and do some journaling in my other Bible but since I mostly just film how I’m currently journaling it will be a lot of this particular Bible. You can adapt entries for the smaller margins though 😉

How do you get your water color to stay so thick and rich on that metal tin? I put it out on the tin and it just beads up into tiny drops.

I’ve used that also but I don’t like how difficult the lines are to erase and it’s hard to make sure I have the image lined up right where I want it. You could use it though 😉

Maybe I’m using the wrong term for what I used (which is entirely possible). I’ve traced some large scale stuff to put on canvas that worked out really well. When I get back from Hurricane evacuation I will figure out exactly what I used.
