In this video I go through the steps needed to set up waypoints in Google Maps and get them to work within Garmin Basecamp. It's pretty simple, but requires a few key steps.

Thanks for making it. I did finally get it to work and was able to add OpenMaps and topo to my ancient Colorado 400.

Very well explained, but BaseCamp is easy enough for me. It was more a Google maps tutorial to me.

Basecamp imports the "Points" in the correct order if you add driving directions in Google before you import.

If you save all the maps from your Sat nav (Zumo) on to your computer, there is no need to plug it in.

Basecamp is easy to use and it doesn't need internet...Google does.
