Still rocking my 8 Plus since 2017. Using it everyday and still gets the job done despite wanting a bigger and better screen and a better battery life . I haven’t replaced it’s battery and it has 75% of its original capacity

I don’t feel the design dated I feel the design doesn’t get old in my eyes feels so classy, this phone does better than most androids at price of 300+, the screen looks so good the camera looks so good that never fails, it feels more premium to hold than most androids that feel plastic

I just parted ways with my iPhone 8 a few months back. Rarely used a case with it, never dropped it but 2 weeks before I got my new phone, dropped it with a case on, and shattered the screen. iOS 15 was just too much for it. It got slow, the battery didn't hold a charge after being replaced once, but it still was an awesome phone. Rocking an iPhone 13 mini now, I love the phone, but there's just something about the iPhone 8 being so comfortable in hand.

Might get this for my mom who is in her 80s. She’s currently using the 6s. She’s not a gamer or TikTok-er. Love your vids 😊

My mum's still rocking my iPhone 6s 32gb. She uses is for texting , calling and Facebook so it's perfect for her . Perfect size and works wonders

My girlfriend was doing it up until early 2021 i believe. She dropped it and broke the screen, had it repaired by a shop that didn’t do a good job. She then decided to get a new one. She would’ve likely still have been using it haven’t it broke. Great phone.

I would say so, my iPhone XR recently just died, it became untrustworthy and I could no longer rely on it anymore. Random boot looping, NFC issues etc, so I’ve gone back to my old phone, the iPhone 8, good phone, even if my battery health is a little trashed. Can’t wait to get a 13 tho :)

It’s fun taking/ editing photos with my iPhone 8. I recently added the Focos camera app to try the bokeh effect on my photos. Solid, basic iPhone for my daily use.

Bought one back in January 2021 after watching your videos, and I've loved the experience so far! The only problems I have are the lack of 5G (I'm a telecom engineer) and the app crashes / slowdowns when handling large files (onedrive for example). Battery life is okay for me (replaced the battery for 55€ through apple), and photography is really nice, especially in daylight. I would also say that the 'stereo' speakers are not that great, but I think this has to do with my earpiece being either defective or very clogged up.

I’ve got the IPhone 7,using it for about 3 months,thinking of upgrading to the SE 2020,now it’s price is pretty good,can get one with 128 gigs and Apple Watch SE for about the price of the new SE 3.5G isn’t really important for me,and the A13 is still gonna hold pretty well for a couple of years.

Bought my iPhone 8 a week after it came out. It does what I need and I’ll keep using it till apple decide no more updates. Don’t need the latest and greatest

Using one. Except for the screen which is kinda small, sometimes affecting my reading or watching experience and the battery, it’s okay for me. I even do PUBG sometimes on this phone 😂.

Batteries aren't too hard to replace as long as you have a few good tools. They are really cheap too, around $10 for a new battery!

Used it for 3,5 years and simply had to switch from it as the battery got worse as well as it became too laggy as of iOS 15.5 It’s actually bizarre how quickly it became frustrating to use in the past couple of months. It still looks amazing though. I’d say it looks better than it performs. A great phone though.

Hey guys I just got my 8 last month and it’s my first iPhone but I noticed something in the home button cause when I press it once sometimes it double click. Is it normal?

I bought my iPhone 8 late in Dec. 2019. I was using it just fine until this year it started glitching and turning off randomly, freezing the screen, the battery sucked, and the microphone broke down this month, although not getting it wet or anything. I ended up needing to buy a new phone, so I wouldn’t recommend getting one in 2022.

It’s a great phone still, I got one at 78% battery health and it still work fine! It’s my backup phone tho and it’s good considering it can record in 4K 60 fps and mine has 256gb. My daily driver is 11 pro tho 64gb 😂

Just downgraded from my iPhone 12mini because it died and its just unfamiliar to have a homebutton and no gesture control. but you get used to it and even through im a hardcore phone user i feel very rarely the a11 bionic. but in the daily usage its perfect and on eye level with the newest smartphoneprocessor from Apple.

If you use an Apple iPhone 7 Battery Case on the iPhone 8, it would give the phone a slightly better battery capacity than the iPhone 11 and two additional speakers are included inside the case for louder audio. The case brings the combined weight to 241 grams vs the 194 gram iPhone 11 without a case. That would fix the main issue with the iPhone 8, which is the battery life. That should make the iPhone 8 still usable in 2023. Unless your problem with the iPhone 8 is with the screen brightness, home button and bezel, screen resolution, outdated camera, lack of 5G, LCD as opposed to OLED, small size, small screen size, the most likely very soon dropped support, or lastly the MagSafe incompatibility. The Apple iPhone 7 Battery Case also kills wireless charging capability which is the only downside. Other than that, that should fix the only real problem that I see with the iPhone 8 for use in 2023. It still has slower charging wattage speeds (iPhone 8 w/ Battery Case - 18W max) than newer phones (iPhone 14 Pro Max - 27W max) however. And it takes 3 hours to charge from 0 to 100% with iPhone 7 Battery Case.
