Makes sense. Yves Missi is not playing for Cameroon in the qualifying tournament. Wembly didn't play in last years world cup before his rookie year. Rookies want to concentrate on getting ready for the NBA and don't want to risk injury before their rookie season

Zach saying he wants to prepare himself for the next NBA season is a joke. He would be playing against NBA players in these Olympics. He appears not wanting to be embarrassed by seasoned players right now. That's fine those players can do him dirty over 82 games.

Very sad that some athletes can't show up for a couple of weeks to excel in their sport once every four years. The biggest sporting event on the planet. If Edey is afraid he is going to become injured then he should live in a bubble and only exit it when he has to attend his new team's practices and games. Life is a gamble everyday for all of us. If this was the attitude for the Americans we would never have experienced the Dream Team. The best of the best. I was always critical of Boucher not playing for team Canada. Now he will never know the feeling. Speak to any athlete who has ever appeared for their country and it often exceeds the enjoyment of playing for their professional team. So when athletes pass on such an honor it is disappointing. High praise to all athletes who accept the call.

We want, and We would like Zach Edey to show up even if for one, two, three games and Wiggins as well. How do you allow politics to govern or have a say in history. When politics doesn't care about the sacrifices nor understand the commitment towards excellence. Have a great Olympics Canada!!!
