It's horrible the way they picked on and disparaged Maryam. She's a nice person and very nice to everyone else -- she's an immigrant who is speaking a second language so have some respect and compassion for her. Nasty girls.

For me Maryam is the real winner of this season. Can’t believe how these bullies cried crocodile tears just to look innocent in front of the judges.

It is my first time watching this cycle. And I really hate how the other models acted about Maryam. She's a gentle and nice person. She should be protected. Nikita and Maeghan are so bad. Mocking her and making her a laughing stock is sickening. Eew.

The girls were just nasty this episode to Maryam. She's such a sweet person. Of course there may be some language barriers and cultural differences, but I think Jay would done a triple elimination this week, if he saw how the girls' confessionals and how they acted in the house. No inner beauty within the 3 meangirls this episode. TEAM Maryam!!!!! Yasmin and Mark were so sad to see her leave.

Watching the toilet paper challenge in 2020 hits different 🥴😂

A couple of things about the whole dress incident: 1) Miriam is a nice girl in all aspects. Nice people generally want to help others therefore this is probably why she stepped in to help the assistants. Was it her right to step in? No. 2) Miriam should acknowledge that the damage was her fault and understand how bad the damage was. In no way, was that a “little” rip in the dress. Linsay had to be extra extra mindful of the dress as the damage took place on her dress. 3) despite this being Miriam’s fault and rightfully so, she needed to be eliminated, the other girls did not need to continue to remind her and nag on her for her mistakes. That is bullying. There is a much more professional way to communicate to Miriam the consequences of her mistakes and by saying “this is why Heather should be here instead” and continue to put Miriam down is awful to do as a person. EDIT: I also feel Nikita and Meaghan need to stay out of the matter in judging. The matter involved Miriam, Linsay and the designer’s dress.

Merriam deserves to win because she produce amazing photos

The girls behaved disgustingly towards Maryam throughout this cycle but particularly in this episode. They treated her like she was dumb for english being her second language and made fun of her accent constantly which isn't just mean of them it's outright racist. I wish the judges could see the behind the scenes footage. Maryam tried to comfort Meghan after she had a bad shoot then five minutes later she was making fun of her with the others (I don't see how this could just be editing). I think they were jealous she was obviously ten times more beautiful and had more model potential than any one of them. Really wonder if any of them feel guilty now when they look back, I hope they do, Maryam deserves the biggest apology from all of them (Ps. I know I've probs spelled all their names wrong but I'm too furious to check)

Maryam was one of the most beautiful contestants they ever had both inside & out. The racism & cruelty of the other girls was disgusting. She was limited in her passport options due to being a new immigrant. I really hope this lovely lady is continuing to thrive. One of the nicest top model contestants ever! 💕

Maryam was so gentle and kind. Typical shady production casting her without a passport knowing there were multiple international trips. I don't think she ever could've won considering she seemed to be aloof 99% of the time, but she truly was an incredible model w more drive than all of the models put together. Tbh, I think Nikita should've gone home at this point. She's very model-y and makes good TV but would never be chosen as the winner w that attitude. I know she was young and the competition is stressful, but she truly has one of the worst personalities I've seen on top model - just straight up nasty and mean. I hope she grew up and found peace in herself after the show.

This isn’t the first contestant that comes from a culture which requires covering up or inhibits actions such as posing with legs wide open. You don’t get to pick what clothes or what moves the client wants from you ... whoever represents you gets to decide what go-sees they send you on. If you’re restrictive, I think no one will want to be your agent.

Seeing Meaghan’s photo, i’m very concerned what’s wrong with it. I dunno if it’s the hair length, hair color, hair style, i dunno. Something’s wrong with the hair and it affects the shot. Favorites? Meaghan > Heather > Nikita > Maryam > Tara > Alexandra > Linsay > Rebeccah > Jill > Ebonie > Tiffany. I agree with Maryam going home since she is a bit problematic. She missed two photoshoots due to visa and ultimately ripped the clothes. But in the first place why would they pick Maryam if she hasn’t have her visa checked? Side note, Meaghan is not an antagonist. She’s just annoyed with Maryam. She deserved to win.

She just needs to learn to make eye contact. Otherwise she was fantastic. Perhaps she can go back to the Canada’s next top models next season. If there might be one. I hope that she will win. On episode 5: We find the completely condescending Miss Narcissistic Bully Cruella Nikita in rare form, using her razor sharp to slice through what’s left of Miranda’s fragile and shaky self esteem - topping it off with healthy doses of imitating her voice and expressions. Yet she fails to realize just how BAD it makes HER look, every time she does, especially the enjoyment she derives from it. 🙄 Considering it’s above and beyond the usual catty behavior amongst models, Jay should shut this down immediately.

Everyone loves an underdog but the reality is, it was Maryam’s time. Meaghan’s photo was weaker but Jeannie was right. Her photo was compelling. I remember seeing all 4 photos years ago and Meaghan’s was the one that stuck all these years. Even when I saw it as the ad (which didn’t last long, they replaced it fast like they always do), it always caught my eye. Hate all you want but the right decision was made.

Nikita and Meaghan were definitely over the top criticizing Maryam. But Maryam should have been eliminated last week over Heather and was rightfully eliminated this week (thanks to Miss Jay who wasn't the biggest fan of her). Also, props to Linsay for turning it up towards the end- her photo and walk here were my favorite.
