This is to share our personal experience flying from Canada to India on a direct Air India flight. We spent $2000 CAD on AIR INDIA ticket, flying from Toronto, Canada to Delhi, India ✈️ #canadavlogs #indiatocanada #canadatoindiaflight .
It was a 13hr flight - watch the vlog to see what food was served in the flight and how we entertained ourselves. As soon as we landed, we went to McDonald’s because Canada doesn’t have Aloo Tikki burger which is our favorite.

Did you fly economy? Did you book Comfort or Comfort Plus? Trying to decide for our Delhi flight.

Yes, we flew economy and booked comfort seats. I think when we booked only Comfort seats were available so not sure what the difference would be like. :)

My relative travelled ist time on Air India from Vancouver to Delhi. He was not happy because seats were not in good condition, screens were not working and dirty washrooms. He is retired and in Canada for 45 years and travelled to India manu times previously on other airlines. He said will not travel on Air India .

Around 30 minutes - it also depends if the immigration line is long or not and how long it takes the baggage to come. :)

It didn’t take long.. maybe 15-20 mins max but it depends on how many counters they have open.

Just because TATA bought AI that doesn’t mean everything will be hunky dory. Give them some time. They are working on getting newer airplanes. Also retrofitting the ones they inherited from the government.

Not watched the video yet. Air India was the worst airline for food and other amenities. But I hope since TATA took over it, there would be some improvements. Canada to India, always take either Emirates, or Etihad airways. Best for time and amazing food on the plane. 5 star service too..

Air India has its standards. TATA will not compromise on principles. If you think travel by Air India was not a god experience, choose another air line. TATA is not the one to grumble and Air India will not lose anything.

Delhi airport stinks like the good old days like an overfilled-up toilet, sad sad to see the brand new airport in shocking dismal condition, People there don't know what it is maintaence.
